This game is awesome, the story is amazing and the game play is so great

Played this game on Xbox 360 and liked it, even though there was some loading issues. Now I have it on the One and all the issues are gone.

Reviews are opinions and opinions vary but I think this takes the best of the Assassin's Creed series and the Arkham series and mixes them into the LotR universe. Stealth mechanics are similar, fighting is familiar and with the addition of the Nemesis system the enemies take on a new experience. It won't be for everyone but I find it enjoyable on my XBOX ONE.

Shadow of Mordor is an excellent game and I find myself playing far longer than I intend to once I get started. I like that anyone who kills you takes the role of a captain that you will have to face later in the game. This isn't a game where you can just go in and start mashing buttons or you will end up having to face much harder captains down the road.

It has very good graphics and the story line is extremely intense!

The game is very fun. Best LOTR game yet. A lot of replay value.

I love the combat system as the battle can get very intense and it is a lot of fun. I just wish there was more things to explore in the world. A little bit more open world like Skyrim, something else than just collection writing for the wall and the memory thing which can get repetitive. Overall I would say get it a buy if you are a LOTR fan!!

This game has it all, great graphics, a nice fast pace of game and an addictivness that means you want to play for hours and hour. If I had to put one downside to the game it would be that at times the battles can be somewhat simplistic (but that would be a harsh criticism). If you haven't bought this game then what are you waiting for?

Very good Assassin's Creed style game with a Lotr coat of paint. The early game isn't very fun with constant deaths until you level up enough to get some powers that makes combat much easier. Graphics are great and controls are responsive. It has little replay value in my opinion once I finished the campaign I was done with it except for a few achievements.

The Nemesis System (continuity-based villains who come back to haunt you) is the best addition to a game I've ever seen. Every person's game will be tailored to their specific decisions of whom to kill and whom to hold off on. The Nemesis System also gets your (same-platform) friends involved; they can avenge your death in their game.

this game is awesome of course now they have a version that has all of the dlc so I would go with that version instead.

I am not a gamer, this is my second game and I think it is a blast. It is easy to spend more time than I should playing.

Shadow of Mordor properly uses The Lord of the Rings world to make an original, action packed game that makes people fall in love with the Tolkein lore. While the story can be disjointed near the end, fans who are looking for a great action game with a nifty idea in their Nemesis system look no further than Shadow of Mordor.

I don't usually buy games as I am a gamefly member but after a couple of gameplay I saw, I decided to buy it myself and try it. The graphics is amazing and the game play even though some say is repetitive is actually very good as the enemies keep getting stronger everytime you die so it keeps it challenging. Very good buy.

Had fun with this game but didn't really feel the urge to finish it because it felt a bit repetitive and boring after a while
