For those who are a Fan of the Hobbit and Lord of the rings trilogy. I recommend buying this beautiful master piece.

This is a solid game in the LOTR series, although the majority of the main characters are not in the game (at least I haven't seen them if they are) it is still a very fun game to play and you will not bet this game in a few hours and be done it's going to take some time to get through. If you are a fan of the Arkham & Assassins Creed series games you should like this because it play as a combination of the 2

If you like open world RPG's and the Tolkein mythos this game is for you. Engaging story, great graphics, and fun combat. Just be careful though as their new enemy system is devilish in its brilliance and the more you die the tougher the game gets.

I love this game. There isn't enough time during the day to play it as much as I would like to. If you are a follower of the movie franchise, then this game is for you. Just when you think you have the upper hand, an underling will best you and change the whole structure of the game. Can't wait to play some more.

Cool new basis for a video game,but its gets boring. Sort of like assasin's creed without the cool storyline or history

Best graphics, game play, and story mode. The game is addicting and never gets old. You never face the same for twice. There is numerous woods to upgrade your character and the skills he holds. The upgrades never ends and even when the story mode is over there is still a lot more missions you are able to do.

They story line and gameplay of this epic button dancing quest best any of the past Lord of the Rings games to date. The game bears an addictive quality that begs the player to stay through one more round or Orc-slaying. Don't miss this game! It's also worth purchasing the Season Pass for the numerous extras.

Game looks good, but has too much to "CLUTTER" as far as gameplay is concerned. The game suffers from trying to do to much in one game. I felt myself being confused while playing game on what button combinations to do what during certain times during the game. The game also suffers from being to "open" in my opinion and after 5 hours found myself bored of the game because of its repetitiveness.

Mordor, while borrowing greatly from batman Arkham city and the assassins creed franchise also creates a unique nemesis system. The nemesis system creates a hierarchy of enemies that get stronger as they defeat you or each other. It will be interesting to see how other franchises build on this new feature

I was not sure about buying the game, but after 10 minutes of playing I knew it was a great acquisition.

The game I received was in perfect condition and it is great. I got it for a gift and my friend loves it.

At first I was a little frustrated with this game because I would get killed constantly by the same orc. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and it turned out amazing. I really like the game and the story thus far. Once you get comfortable with the combat system the game is outstanding.

I love this game! I remember playing LOTR: the two towers on gamecube back in the day. This brings me back to the days when I was a kid. I love this world and combat. You get really involved with the side missions and killing the leaders of the orcs. Can't recommend this game enough. GOTY so far!

I can't begin to tell you how awesome this game is. If you're a fan of fantasy games this is for you.

What a game that blew me away and I almost missed it. I put 115 hours in it and didn't even realize it that's how much fun I was having. Must have although when I 100% the game I really had no reason to replay but 115 hours is worth the ticket of admission. And also has good trade in value.

See review of PS4 version. Outside of looking slightly worse, the Xbox One version is identical.

This game is simply amazing. It combines the stealth and parkour of the Assassin's Creed series, the combat of the Batman Arkham series, the graphic blood and gore of Ryse, and the storytelling and RPG elements of the Lord of the Rings series to make the BEST GAME OF 2014. Enough said.

Part Assassins Creed, part Batman. Lots of fun. Nemesis system adds a lot.

Fans of the Batman Arkham series will enjoy this combo chaining brawler. Experience with fighting games and button combos will come in handy, but novices can pick this game up relatively quickly. Gameplay could be enhanced with more training to master button combos before embarking on the story mode. Fans of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies will enjoy the story.

This game has the repitition of Assassins Creed, but offers a different game as a whole. The graphics are legit, finishers are amazing and it flows pretty well. The reason it doesn't get 5 stars is although you can rank up and put in skill points the gameplay is very repetitious. Single player only seems very 90's to me as this game would be way better with co-op option.
