The LOTR Shadow series is one of few great new franchise to be introduced in the past decade. I'm saddened by the fact that this is only a two game series. Hope to see more from monolith soon.

If you enjoyed the first middle earth game, than you’ll love the latest installment

Fun game, and enjoyable. Not overtaxing or difficult, but still challenging. The gameplay has many cut-scenes that hold your interest. Still playing with many hours of enjoyment so far.

I thought this game was a great expansion on the original. I also think they did a great job updating the enemies to be a greater challenge than they were in the first game

If you played the first one then get this if you haven’t...the still get it. This game looks gorgeous and has amazing combat controls combined with a great story.

Takes you deeper into the world of Modor. Wished you could earn more powers and weapons faster!

As a fan of Shadow of Mordor, I love this second take on the concept. Fun and dangerous open world set in Tolkein's iconic fantasy land.

I enjoy the massive environment campaign games, and this is one of the best. It’s a bit of a grind getting started, but gets better as you advance.

I kind of don't like that the captain's you recruit end up dead when you come back.

Was a birthday gift for my son and he loves it. The ring was a nice added touch.

The Gold Edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of War is similar to the definitive edition of the game except this version also comes with a nice steelbook case. They both come with the base game and all the downloadable content included in the season pass. I would definitetly recommend buying this version if still available and if it costs the same price as the definitive edition or especially the standard version.

They improved on so much from the first game while still keeping the same feeling. Definitely a worthy successor to Shadow of Mordor.

One of my top 5 all time games! It great play and fun story! Stick to the hardest difficulty to really make it worth every minute.

I enjoy this game. A lot of action! I got it as a birthday present from my girlfriend and have to wait on her to play the game!!

The game has a huge download patch, almost the size of the game install. Rich and vibrant details from a One X and 4K HDR TV.

Gameplay is great but they basically made everything more difficult with overpowered captains that ambush you. Half the time you're trying to cheese the system. Also the story is boooooooooooooring.

Game looks much better than the original game that came out 3-4 years ago. There just seems to be something missing about this game. Not as story driven and a bit too much of the same thing. Kill officer and rinse and repeat.

This game was made pack full of action, and was then delivered with constant comicalal complexity throughout the entire game!

Way better than the first one. I had a blast playing this. Great gift to pickup for those who enjoy action games.
