    This is a good game but it doesn't add enough fresh features to make it different from the first game. While I highly enjoyed and platinumed the first game this one despite a great story drove me to boredom due to high repetition. If you didn't play the first you'll probably fair better.

    Shadow of War provided plenty of fun in the 30 or 40 hours I've spent with it so far, but somehow this future seemed so much brighter in 2014. Middle-earth: Shadow of War was reviewed using “retail” PlayStation 4 download codes provided by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.
