The nemesis system is back and better than ever. Great sequel.

This game has a lot more abilities than the original. The map is probably twice as large as the first. The nemesis system is deeper. In other words, they took the first game and just made it bigger. If you enjoyed the first game I think you will enjoy this one. I would recommend that you try the first game before buying this one. The first one has been on sale for $10 or less many times.

If you loved Shadows of Mordor, and just wanted more- this game delivers. Gameplay is basically the same as it’s predicessor. The world is much larger and there are more creatures, etc. I do wish there was more to do online. I only have about 36 hours into it, but it is as fun as the first with the potential to get even better as my character gets more abilities and commands armies, etc.

Great sequel to the original, improved combat, great story

I beat this game last night "beat" to find out that the "True Ending" is hidden behind hours of tedious grinding or buying chests to make your army stronger to get the true ending. Other than that really enjoyed this game. Combat was smooth and fun, and almost everything is climbable so you don't have to look for specific things that can be climbed like in a lot of games.

Awesome game for fans of Lord of the Rings or for action RPG games. The game has plenty of content and will keep you busy for hours in a good way. The only gripe I have is the orc cut scenes that play every minute when facing multiple captains. These scenes are very similar to the first game and should have been skippable in this game especially since some of them can be frustratingly long in a game that's supposed to be fast action paced. The story is not as strong as the first but is still entertaining none the less. There is also plenty of side and Fortress quests that will make this game entertaining for a long time. The loot box economy is not game-breaking at all. I spent $0 in the game and still feel satisfied with the economy. You can earn plenty of in game money to purchase loot boxes and still be successful. If anything it just takes a little longer to progress and/or to buy good quality Orcs but that is all fine in a game that is fun to play regardless. A must-have game.

I like the Tolkien "Lord of the Rings" fantasy world and I really liked the first installment of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor. This new game cranks up the graphics and gameplay and is even better than the first game. If you liked the first one you'll love this one. If you didn't play the first one, go pick it up cheap.

I played the first game, shadow of mordor and loved it. Have been watching this game during its entire development cycle and knew what was coming in the form of updates and gameplay changes. But even knowing that I was not ready for how good the game really is. Highly recommend to gamers and lord of the ring fans alike.

If you liked Shadow of Mordor, you'll like this game. Tons of people are complaining about micro-transactions, but honestly, who cares? You do not NEED them to play/beat/enjoy the game. I guess people are up in arms about paying for gear/characters in the multi-player castle siege mode, but that's not the core of the game; that's not even needed to enjoy it.

The orcs are much smarter, so the gameplay is much more challenging than Shadow of Mordor. They learn your moves & are able to defend against them, so the game forces you to learn more fighting skills. The graphics & storyline are great. Great game! If you liked Shadow of Mordor, you’ll like this new game even more!

For LOtR fans, this is a must buy! Great story. Awesome action
