I couldn't keep up with my daughter or husband they couldn't make out what i was saying and the same thing will me. All we got was static unless we was right by eacer other. And we take 3 to 4 cruises a year and we just gave up. Couldn't return them because by the time we got back from tne cruise it had been 30 to 45 days. Sad we really wanted them to work.

Posted .We hear your disappointment in the range. A cruise is a challenging environment for walkies to be used in. Many dense materials on a cruise ship include wood, concrete, and metal. Cruise ships also have several levels, which make communication with the walkie-talkies difficult. Ok not the best over water

It's Best Buy that gets the 5 star treatment.
