I took these out on a kayaking trip and the sound was so clear. I was able to communicate with my friend even from miles away.

I might get a little over a half mile range in the city-the buildings do cut down on range. Voice clarity is very good. I like that these are rechargeable. My wife and I use them in the car when we run errands separately rather use our phones.

Good for road trips, car to car communication. Don’t think your going to get the range they’re saying in mountainous terrain.

I haven't tried the 28 mile range but for regular close-proximity use like a mile or so works good.

Battery issues

It dies very fast. Have to use aaa batteries for one of them. Sucks to have 1 one way and the other with battery pack. Will have to go to batteries plus and get a new pack. Hope that will work then.

I look forward to traveling in my camper/truck and the wife following on trips. Easier than cell phones, especially in one hour traffic jams.
