Even if you already have every other edition of Minecraft on every other console, this is a must-have. While I myself do not play Minecraft, my daughter does. I was hesitant to get her the Nintendo Switch Edition because she already has the PS4 Edition, plus both Story Mode games on the PS4, as well as on her tablet. However, the Nintendo theme packs really seem to add a new depth of mining and crafting or whatever the heck you call it. It seems repetitive, which I guess technically it is, but if you or your kids can't get enough Minecraft and you do not already own it for the Switch, I recommend it.

My 8 year old grandson had a Birthday list…this game was #1. …so I’m a hero!

I usually play Minecraft on PC when my brother gets the urge to set up a server. Since its cross platform now, thought I'd try it on Switch this time. It looks and plays very smoothly. Its going to take some getting used to using the second stick for the camera, but otherwise very glad to have this portably.

My sons favorite game he loves Minecraft. My opinion I don’t like the graphics but I’m not a gamer. My son loves everything about this game.

Great fun game for all ages to play. Takes a bit of getting used to, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very enjoyable.

My girls love the online games dance to the songs so naturally it’s a great Christmas present. The purchase was available on stock and that’s a major win for us.

An absolutely addictive game I play it all the time on Xbox and now have it on the switch!!!!

Purchased as a Christmas present. Had to look up exactly how to play because it was a little confusing.

After waiting soo many years holding out thinking that this was just a kids game, its become very clear that I was completely wrong. The adventurer in me loves that I can explore to no end, and my creative side can go wild in ways I never thought I could put into making things come true.

Minecraft as a game is wonderful but the Switch versions are honestly not great. My cellphone can run the game faster than the Switch could and with less problems. Load times for anything takes a very long while. Gotta wait for the Microsoft profile to log in, another minute for your list of worlds to load in, another two minutes for your world to actually become playable and if you accidentally open your settings it's a whole other minute just for it to tell you that it failed to load. On a good day all this can happen in one go but on a bad day you will have to keep restarting the game for it to finally let you into your worlds or for it to even properly log into your microsoft account.
