This version of Minecraft is similar to other versions, but has less features and any texture packs purchased on other systems cannot be transferred over. There is no cross-play, and no flat world option. The graphics upgrade is definitely noticeable over the XBox 360 and iPad versions, but if you have a decent PC, that would still be the preferred version.

Purchased for my son, could have bought switch or pc version, but for him the ps4 version would be best.

No game collection is complete without a copy of Minecraft on every platform you own. If you have another platform other than PS4 though, you might want to invest there - since you can't cross-play with PS4 in the planned upcoming update to this game that will unite all the consoles (except PS4).

I bought this for my son for Christmas because he is REALLY into playing minecraft on his IPAD. He loves the game.

This ps4 rendition of minecraft leaves nothing wanting. More than satisfied!!

Although this is not anew game, my nephew wanted it because when he was younger, he loves minecrsft

I play this with my 9 year old son and we have a great time. The world is a lot larger than the ipad or phone versions.

It's minecraft...if you don't know minecraft and how great it is...then you probably shouldn't buy this game anyway.

My son and his friends absolutely love this game. They can play it for hours if I let them. Lol!

This game can create a good imagination especially for kids who play it.

I bought this game for my kids since they love playing Minecraft on my phone. The console version is even better. Can be confusing at first but there is a good tutorial to get you started.

This was a great option for my young niece to play on her ps4. Very popular among younger kids

While the game is still amazing, It’s Minecraft, what do you expect?, the game is starting to fall behind in terms of updates compared to the other consoles. Microsoft seems to have left the PS4 version behind and is working on the universal phone/console version, which the PS is not getting. While that is disappointing, it doesn’t make what’s here any less enjoyable.

I'm not a gamer, but i can say my daughter of 7 years of age has a blast playing. So as she wonders through the game, I sit back and ask many questions to the point of annoyance and kicks me out, but she enjoys it so it's all that matters.

Santa is bring a new PS4 to our house and this was a MUST for the Minecraft fan in our home.

Minecraft is a classic. I played this for years and the most recent purchase of this game was for my 4 year old son so he could play along side me. We have so much fun together and he thinks I'm the best mom in the world for getting it for him ;)

My son loves puzzles so who he can't put it down. I love it my son loves it so we were happy with the purchase.

Personally, I don't understand this game, but my uncles love it. This is the reason why I brought it. This game has split screen, so until 4 players can play in the same console.
