Kids (ages 8 to 13) love it. You will need to actually download the game for them to be able to play. Being multi-player is nice and split screen worked well on 50inch tv

Minecraft for the Nintendo Switch is a must buy!! This game is such a fun experience to play because you can build anything you want. You get to bring your own imagination and creativity to the game.

My kids love this game. They were showing up houses and forts they built, the inside of the houses are massive with different stuff they designed. The game displays the kids' imagination and also enhances it.

Great port of this game over to Nintendo Switch. Very kids friendly. They enjoy building houses, crafting items and such. It works well across platforms as well. The Mario gameplay is cool too.

My daughter love this game so when she finally got her own "system" (switch lite) besides Animal Crossing she wanted this. She's now put animal crossing down and plays Minecraft all the time lol

This is a great alternative for a portable version that allows the easy use of a controller. You can cross play from Switch to Xbox One seamlessly. The Mario themes do not work cross play. Overall this is a great experience on the Switch.

Great game perfect for any teenager or child wonderful purchased

This one is even better than Lego version of the game. As far as a port over from the original, they’ve added more control to the characters as mentioned in one of my previous reviews. It is definitely a deeper game even though it is for the switch. The Switch definitely captures all of the control and capability of the PC version in this version of the game. If you are into Minecraft, go for it.

Bought this as a way to get my kiddo engaged in reading as we already had several books on Minecraft at the house. She is beyond thrilled and is so creative with the things she builds. I even took a turn and had a Scottish Castle in the works!
