Got this for a young kid, and while we don't use online features, the free play keeps him busy and entertained enough. There are optional add-ons you may buy, but they are not necessary to enjoy the base game.

I have already purchased this game before, but it is so good that I just had to buy it for another console. The game is super fun and addictive. You'll never get bored because there is always something to do.
