A Blast Reduced by Switch Limitations

Unfortunately, the Switch version is always the one to have technical / network issues. I would not buy this if you want to play four-player split-screen. These are console-related issues though, you know what you're getting if you played Minecraft before. The Mario-themed world is huge, and the music is awesome.

My nine year old loves it (maybe too much), and it does require planning and strategy. There are books available to help one on their Minecraft journey. I think it's an acceptable way for a child to pass one's time. It's certainly not to be dismissed as a waste of time.

Super fun for the family

When the little one is playing this, it keeps her busy, Dad can take a nap and the wife can practice making sandwiches. Her sandwiches are something. She skimps on the meat and is heavy on the cheese. She is learning, I know it takes time. When she is done with learning the art of sandwich making I will have her learn how to run a vacuum. Anyway, the game is great!
