It took me a while to get this game for my two boys. They play the Xbox version at their dad's so I had to upgrade to the WiiU. So far they live playing the game and it's one of their favorites!

This game is miles away from the type of game I like to play, but like the title says, my 9 year old daughter loves it. I have to admit the inclusion of the Mario themed world is pretty cool.

WHAT CAN I SAY? YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH TWO GREAT CHARACTER WORLDS IN ONE GAME. REALLY AWESOME! THE KIDS LOVE IT SO MUCH! THEY NOW BOTH HAVE AN EQUAL LOVE FOR MARIO, STEVE, AND ALEX.

My son is really enjoying this game in adventure mode. He is building out a massive house for himself. Nice that he can play it on the game pad instead of on the TV all the time.

With the Wiiu dying in popularity and minecraft being ported to new systems this version, which has pretty much the same content as the new ones, is a great introduction to the series for my nephews who only just got a wiiu.

I bought this version of Minecraft for the unique "Nintendo" characters and backgrounds and was not disappointed. Being able to play on the Wii U touchpad is a HUGE benefit too!

My 4 year old really wanted the MARIO level so I picked up this Wii U edition. Its just like the one we have on the Xbox one but that extra level and skins are worth it.

Bought this for my five-year-old son. He was always watching YouTube videos on his iPad .I've decided to buy it for him and he plays it all the time, he is very happy with!

This is probably the best version of this game I have played. The gamepad gives you access to everything all at once. It makes building stuff a lot more fun and easier.

I purchased this game to play with my son who loves playing Minecraft on his iPad. It is a good Minecraft game with the Awesomeness of Mario Brothers and Friends. I will not give it 5 Stars because I perfer Super Mario Maker.

My daughter has been begging for me to download this game on her iPad or my cell phone. I've said no. Here's a game that I do not have to worry about her on the internet.

Another great offering that will leave you wanting more. Kids love these games as they're entertaining and (shocker!) might have some educational value within them.

Game has a great story for young children to follow and understand. I even found myself laughing a few times at the jokes as well. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun game for youngsters or even themselves.

It's nearly identical to all the other versions of Minecraft I have played except it is for the Wii U. It has a few extra bells and whistles, which I guess is why it costs more than other versions. It's a fun game.

Make sure when you purchase this you ask the right questions. Regular Wii remotes do not work like some of the other games. Gamepad works with WiiU remotes and also game controller. This game was a little different.

Recently purchased an xBox so my kids could play Minecraft and we couldn't find it for the WiiU. While out Xmas shopping saw this, now kids can play on both!

Great birthday gift for my daughter. She likes minecraft and she loves the Wii U edition. She can play it on the tv or the game pad. I do recommend this game.

Minecraft is a great game for children and a great alternative for them instead of call of duty. The Wii U version comes with a Mario pack which is awesome.
