This is a present for my daughter, she requested it for her birthday. I have viewed some of the game play and it seems bascically like an open world parkcore game. Entertainment for hours

First Person Only parkour/free running game is a must play

Mirror's Edge Catalyst does not seem to be getting the attention it deserves. I thought it was a really well-done game that took the ideas of the original and improved upon them. The story is just so-so, but the core gameplay mechanics are solid, and there's plenty in the game to keep you busy. I had a lot of fun playing through this game.

The mechanics are great during gameplay. There are multiple side actions that your able to complete which makes the game last longer and have a more in depth look at the city glass.

I enjoyed the first Mirror's Edge game back in the day, and had been pretty hyped for this: sadly, it doesn't quite live up to those expectations. The controls (never the most intuitive) seem even more unforgiving than the originals, and combat feels clumsier. A shame.

I played the first one and enjoyed it but always found myself wanting more. I played this game and found a slightly sharper version of the first game with very little new innovations. This was just my opinion and while well done, it wasn't any new concepts.

Mirrors edge catalyst enables the player to parkour across rooftops and inside buildings. The game invites casual gamers and people looking for something new on a fun ride.

For fans of the original Mirror's Edge you will most likely be disappointed. It fails to live up and the updated graphics engine is nice but not enough to compensate. He in game physics are a little off and the AI in the game is very clunky.
