Overall the product works as described, but there are some minor problems. First the shine sometimes has difficulty connecting to the app. Second the watch band does not last. Within one week the band had broke. I bought two of these for christmas presents and within a week both watchbands had broke. However, for the price this is a great product. I am currently looking to see if the shine will fit some of the leather bands that the company sells.

The item tracks steps very well but sleep tracker is not very accurate. In a crunch and for the price the device does what it is supposed to but I was very disappointed with the quality and life of the wrist band. It broke within 10 days. Overall I would pay a little bit more and by a different product.

I am very pleased with this product it is easily worn and lightweight even has a clip so can be worn on your shirt or pants. The app is easy to use and set up, I think the only thing I wish it could do is log activity for an elliptical.

I have had a number of fit-bits and have lost them, or had the band break, or just stop charging. I decided I would not keep investing in this somewhat pricey device and go cheap. My sister had a Misfit and encouraged me to try it. The Misfit has a great price point and I like that I do not have to turn around and charge it every couple of days. I also like that it has a time telling feature. Frankly, I have not even tried to see if it syncs with the other fitness programs, as I really am just tracking my daily activity. So, for this purpose, it is just what I need. I'm sure it does more than this, but I haven't explored the features. This is on my to do list. I bought another for my daughter at the same time who lives in Manhattan, and she loves keeping track of her tremendous step count.

Absolutely loved this item when I received it and used it for 14 days. Does everything it says it does and more. I returned this item sadly because the band cracked right where the face goes. It's made poorly and right now there aren't any replacement bands that work for this item. Would totally buy again IF they made replacement bands for it like they do the Shine.

I have owned the Fitbit before this one and this one is way better! It actually tracks everything I do. It also tracks my sleep when I'm sleeping, instead of thinking I'm sleeping when I'm not or not tracking when I'm actually sleeping because I forgot to tell it I was. Easy to read and it tells a crude time. It's not down to the second but it's close enough.

great for jogging, running, sleep tracker too, great price

The first fitness tracker I got was a Fitbit. With the need to charge it and the need to keep it mostly dry and the need to tell it when I was going to sleep in order to have it track my sleep, I was unimpressed. The Misfit solves those issues AND subs as a watch, to boot. I love my Misfit and it syncs with several fitness apps I use. I love this tracker!

There are so many activity trackers out on the market and after looking at many of them I selected the Misfit Flash because of the price and the features especially the sleep quality and the ability to swim with it on. I purchased this for myself and when I got home I put it on and have not taken it off. I sync to my iPhone daily. Would highly recommend!

I have this for over 6 months now. Other than the fact that it failed to find records of my activities several times, it works fine. Also, the wrist band broken a month ago. I emailed customer service and they mailed me a replacement. This tracker doesn't have all the bells and whistles like the others but it's simple enough to track your daily activities.

The tracker aspect works fine and syncs easily, but the interface leaves something to be desired on the device itself. That said, it falls out of the wristband pretty easily and mine was ultimately lost after a month. It's inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. If you pay attention to whether or not it's still in the wristband it will be fine for you.

For the price it's hard to complain. Works decently enough. Tracks your sleep, steps and calories burned. Problems are the cheap wristbands. I've already had two break on the part that holds the tracker. Also had one stop working all together and had to exchange. Decent but has it's flaws.

This product has great features. I bought it for my 12 year old daughter and she loves tracking her activity and sleep. It is cheaply made though. I will have to return it after her wearing it for only a couple of days due to the part that holds the monitor on the band breaking.

. . . but it leaves a few questions. Sometimes it doesn't sync properly. The app is sometimes a challenge to work with. It seems like it should be easy to set goals, but it is not that straightforward. Note: This product has been used by my wife, and I am completing this review. She likes it, but I have observed some frustration on her part, due to the "bugginess" of the product. It's a good product though.

This is my first fitness/ activity and sleep tracker. It has been a good product for me. Easy to use just sync with your phone. Easy to check your progress and sleep. I did break the clip within the first month. I bought a sturdier replacement band and it worked well.

The Misfit Flash is a great way to track your activity. It's much less expensive than the name brand that is out there. I think it does just as nice of a job tracking your steps and any activity. It is very detailed and you can tailor it to fit your lifestyle.
