My college aged daughter has been wanting to try an activity tracker- and I liked the idea of looking at my sleep patterns- so when I found this 2 pack on Best Buy I decided to give it a try. I have only had mine for three days- so cannot comment on durability- but so far am really pleased with my misfit. I found the disk difficult to get into the wrist band- and there was no clear 'click' to let me know that it was in place. It has come out of the circle once when I was pressing the button to check my progress- but did not fall out altogether. I have the band secured in the last hole- to prevent possible loss of the device due to falling out. It is extremely comfortable- but snug enough that I am reasonably confident I won't lose the tracker. Set up- was very easy- just downloaded the app from google play, set up my profile and goals, and I was off! The simplicity of the app is perfect for me- tells me all I need to know about my steps / calories / sleep pattern without being confusing. I had downloaded myfitnesspal previously to look up calories- and found linking that app with my misfit just as easy as the original set up. I use mine as a watch as well- it seemed a bit funny at first, but was fairly easy to get used to reading the lights. The only other app I have used to track steps is the SHealth on my phone. It didn't really work as a motivator as I managed to leave my phone on the table half the time when I took the dog for a walk or did other exercise. The misfit is on my wrist 24/7 and so comfy I forget it is there. It collects data whether or not I have my phone near by- and I just have to do a quick sync to see details of my progress. I can't comment on the water resistant performance too much- but I do leave it on when cleaning/ washing dishes and that hasn't been a problem so far. Overall, for the clearance price this seems like the perfect way to try out activity tracking.

I bought it as a gift for my sister-in-law and she loves it, she was most impressed by the sleep tracking, and she likes that you dont have to charge it, but she said she's considering swapping it for the shine as the shine has more carry options and is more visually appealing.

I got the device, it started up easy, synced well with the app on my phone, is comfortable to wear, the red leds are great and easy to see. The device itself looks nice but the band looks cheesy. I wore it constantly for a day and a half (slept in it over night) and they boom the ring around the device itself snaps and the device comes falling out. Don't be tempted to buy from misfit directly, their customer service stinks. Good that I bought it online through Best Buy and took it back to the local store no problem. I was willing to try with another but they had none in stock so they issued a refund. When they get some in stock I might try again.

Really this review would be a 5 star review, however since this is a newer product it is not without bugs. I personally have the Misfit Shine and expected the experience with the Flash to be the same. It has for the most part been the same, but some bugs we have encountered, occasional disconnects from syncing which require the flash the pressed until its lights run in a circle and then pressed again till the lights run in a circle once more. After that it syncs fine again, but for a new user this becomes very worrysome thinking it has not tracked your activity. We have also had a strange occurrence where it just stopped auto-tracking sleep and a few days later started again. So again yes it is a nice, and a much more affordable price to own a Misfit Wearables product, but be ready for some bugs to happen till they update something.

I really like how simple the Misfit Flash is overall. I was disappointed that the lights for the pink flash are red. I figured they would be white like the picture but oh well. I had a shine in the past but it caused a skin irritation so I'm very happy they came out with the flash. It is plasticy and I am hoping they come out with more bands. I have read reviews that the bands break easily so extra bands would be a plus. My favorite feature is that I NEVER have to charge this band!!!! Everything with this band is automatic. The only thing I have to do it press the button to see what time and what my progress is! It even goes into sleep mode automatically. It's pretty great!

I like it. It is easy to use and I like that it tells time too. However it is NOT waterproof. Maybe for a shower or wadhin dishes, but NOT in the pool. I have had two of these die after a single swim in the pool. I am disapointed to say the least. If not advertised as waterproof, I would be quite pleased.

This is a cheap way to fo learn if you enjoy wearing a fitness tracker every day. It comes with a sports wrist band and a plastic clip that can be attached to a shoe while running or work under your clothes. I found it comfortable attached to an undershirt and it isn't noticeable even in dress clothes. Tracking is slightly more accurate wearing on your wrist but I would recommend upgrading to the alumnium Misfit Shine product if you plan on wearing on the wrist for aesthetic reasons. Occasional syncing issues with the iOS app made me knock a star off the review but the app is fairly stable and has some basic food tracking options caked in as well. Overall a good fitness tracker and built in smart button ability and integration with IF is a plus.

Last year, when I realized there was such a thing as a 'sleep monitor', I really really wanted one. So what did I do? I bought my husband a Fitbit! He didn't catch the hint. I kept my eye out - looking for deals but really, I hate to spend money on myself. However, when shopping on Black Friday, my husband came up and said, here you go. And what was it? A Misfit! I thought - hmm - a watch without a face? Seriously? But wow...it is GREAT! I love the look of it to be honest. But I really love tracking my sleep. I'm not a huge workout person but I love finding out how many steps I've taken. And, it's got me wanting to make the 'whole circle' light up with dots so I've actually been exercising - walking - going up and down the stairs over and over. And don't you know? I've lost 9 pounds without really trying since I've gotten the Misfit? And that's over Christmas with tons of cookies and baked goods. It's just that I'm more aware of things now that I'm wearing it all the time. I see some people are complaining about the band but I've had it for more than a month and it is fine. It is rubber/plastic like all bands tend to be lately. Disney FastPass Plus bands are the same type of material. Meanwhile, hubby's Fitbit was recalled - and he ended up getting a Samsung to use with his phone for eight times what we paid for this misfit. And this does EVERYTHING I need to do - even though I didn't know I needed it! Plus, it makes me very aware of my sleep patterns. I know now why I'm tired when I wake up. I don't quit moving all night! (Hubby had said that but I like seeing it confirmed.) Get one of these. They're great! I'm getting them for our kids, too. It will be nice to know when they're complaining about practice, how bad it actually was!

it does its job, it tracks with accuracy but i lost the tracker from its own wrist band on the first 2 weeks. for the price should have better quality than that. i wont buy another to replace it, i will go for different brand. this pebble fell from the band so many times, until finally got lost. I purchased directly from best buy because i usually got good quality products and good warranties, but this tracker was a waste of my money. I paid 49.99 for it.

this a great tracker, especially for the price point, but the band is a total piece of garbage. I've broken my second band, I have yet to have one last more than 4 days. The tracker does stay in the band, which makes it easy to lose. I'd love to recommend this product, but until they come out with an upgraded band like they did for the Shine it's just not going to be usable.

The device itself is pretty good, it tracks steps and sleep well, but the strap broke within two weeks.

I first bought the Flash when it was very new, about 3 years ago. I wanted to lose weight, but I need to know some stats on my activity level in order to progress. When I bought the Flash is was Black Friday and I got it for 1/2 price, which is close to the price it goes for now. I wore it for a few weeks, but was unimpressed and so moved on to a big name brand that cost $100. While I liked it, I eventually lost it, and $100 was a lot to replace. The company gave me a deal on a refurb and I bought that. Both of them were clip on style which I really wasn't liking much. I moved on to their $130 wrist band model and I was happier with that. However, a month past the warranty and the band cracked. I returned to the Misfit Flash because if it broke or got lost it wasn't so hard to afford to replace. In the meantime, I realized that the Flash told me all the info that I wanted after all, I just had to sync w/ my smartphone. But the biggest thing that I like, is that I can shower with the Flash, and couldn't with the others. I want to wear my tracker all the time, including showering and sleeping. It's very comfortable and I barely know that I am wearing it. So my philosophy on activity trackers is that I want one that I will wear 24/7 which to me is what makes sense. I leave telling time and getting notifications to my smartwatch, which I take off when around the house and when sleeping. They're too big and not as comfortable to wear anyway.

I can link it to MyFitnessPal as well as the Misfit app on my smart phone. Tracks sleep (#hrs deep sleep and light sleep) and activity. But don't expect to easily use this as a watch. Supposedly you can tell time with little lights that point to the hour and minute but I don't think it ever changed for daylight savings - if it did, I could not tell. It's not remotely usable as a watch. But I didn't buy it for that purpose anyway. Can't go wrong at this price!

READ this...I know there are complaints about broken bands. BUT, I learned that this company has the BEST customer service I've ever encountered. First, they sent me an email saying my Misfit Flash was registering that it was losing battery charge. So, I sent them my address and they sent me THREE replacement batteries. After wearing my Misfit Flash every single day - never taking it off - even in baths and swimming - the band broke. I went to their webpage - looked for customer service - told them my issue and they sent me a new band. FREE. So now, close to a year later, I've noticed a small air bubble on the face of my Misfit. Again, contacted the company and they are sending me a FREE replacement. What company do you know of that would do this? It's AMAZING! Love my Misfit and love this company!! It tracks my sleep - it tracks walking, swimming, running, just about anything ... it's really an incredible piece of technology. For the price? AMAZING!

I've been wanting a tracker to help track how many steps I do for the price this is worth it to start out with it does what I wanted to do I love how it's waterproof only thing that's disappointing that it doesn't have a display or show me the minutes of the time it just shows me what hour and minute on not the whole thing but well worth it

Pros: Looks cute, and I could wear it on my ankle when I didn't want to wear it on my wrist. and... it was super cheap. The sleep sounds are fantastic, and I used them daily. Tracks steps perfectly. Cons: The first time I wore this swimming, it stopped working... So essentially it lasted from mid april until the beginning of June. I did not wear it hard, or every day... So I'm going to assume that the swimming was the culprit... even though its advertised as waterproof. Also, I work night shift, and I would never track my sleep, even if I adjusted my normal sleep hours in the settings. I emailed the company, no response. In short, buy something else.

Overall this tracker is the best there is. Its cheap, functional, waterproof, and looks nice. My wife loves it...enough said. This thing was cheap, allows her to swim without taking it off, shows the time, syncs flawlessly to her phone, lightweight. My only complaint would be the method of hold the tracker in place in the wristband. It feels a little cheap, but has held up well. Only thing it doesn't do is heart rate monitoring, but not a huge deal. Would definitely buy this exact model again over the current ones out.

I kept loosing my UP MOVEs and the problem of syncing UP MOVE with my LG G3 finally and the battery drain got me to ditch the product. With the latest version of Android app and the firmware (updated when I started the app), the manual sync (suit me just fine as it don't waste battery) works without any problem. The calorie report is a little bit confusing as it include basal metabloc rate and account for activity intensity. Comparing to the UP MOVE, it has the features I want (auto sleep measurement, waterprorf, progress, time) and it is weak in features i don't use (food consumption, guidance, social networks). In short, this is a nice no-frill activity tracker that concentrating on tracking activities.

I bought two of these and both straps broke off. It works great for tracking all the activities for which I could give a 5 star. However, it's not worth $50 because the strap material isn't durable.

I read reviews but I don't remember the ones about broken bands. I bought the Misfit Flash-the reviews were good. I wanted something that would count my swimming efforts too. I put this on and wore it constantly, never removing it or messing with it. On day fourteen the disc holder part/band broke. I returned it to store and kept my disc -that was already synced and had my data-but replaced the band. Without counting the days -but less than 2 weeks- this disc/holder band has broken too. At this point the disc has less than 30 days used on it and I'm down 2 bands. I didn't mind syncing it to update my information. I liked that I could swim, be in water and everything else and not pay it much mind. I'm not boxing or MMA'ing, nothing rough at all, little contact that would cause a break andI am not even going to consider the Shine with a better band. I haven't read the reviews so I don't know how good it is. I am returning this one for refund and looking for a suitable replacement. I didn't need a great expensive one because I run on the same tracks, streets and swim in the same pool. I just wanted a no frills one that works. I did like the sleep monitor part of it too. One time it didn't sync for sleeping but the next day it returned.
