I LOVED my Misfit Flash! I wore it 24/7, even in the shower. It really motivated me to workout more and watch my steps and calorie burn increase. Well, the first (and only) time I wore it in the pool was the last time it worked. I tried drying it out, taking the battery out and dry it as well, and nothing. Luckily, I caught it on sale for $15, so I'm not too upset. I'm giving the product another try, but with the Speedo Shine this time. Fingers crossed...!

I bought misfit devices for myself and gifted two for my family members. The flash is not as functional with this app. It freezes a lot and doesn't sync my workout a decent amount of time. One of the reasons why my brother doesn't like using his misfit flash. I don't usually leave comments but it has been frustrating using the app. Also I had a problem with the spotify functionality and customer support responded at a decent amount of time. Hence the 2 stars. However, I had already done everything they had told me on their instructions so it may have been a glitch on their system (the app). I also had a probable with the sports band. I ripped two very easily so it was flimsy. Out of frustration, I contacted customer support. They promised to replace both. I received only one we I was supposed to get two and the one they sent me was defective. Contacted them and I received one band that was good. I was very disappointed with the misfit flash. My brother uses his older Nike workout band over the misfit because he liked that one better. I spent over $150 for all three and the only one I have first hand experiment with doesn't function too well. I am not sure if people are having the same issue with the misfit shine but I'm hesitant to consider it because of my experience with the flash. I may have gotten too excited about the product by buying three close to when it first came out.

I purchased this product in early January. By February 1st, the wrist band had broken in half. I really loathe the waist band clip so I'm not using my Misfit anymore and am researching (and listening to reviews!) other options. I really liked it, while it lasted. It didn't fall short on any of the capabilities I knew it had. I would HIGHLY recommend you spend your money elsewhere!

Use it to track my activities at work and home. Also doubles as a watch which is another plus! You can also track your progress when you wear it.

The misfit activity tracker did not work well for me. It did not calibrate correctly and I suspect I got in fewer steps than the device tracked. While the wrist strap fit ok, I was worried that the actual device would fall out and I could not get it to fit snugly into the clip on accessory. It did not track well for my swimming. The app was very basic. And one day, after just having had it one month, the battery went out. I returned it to the store.

I love this tracker, it does everything I hoped it would! The downside is that the wristband is really cheap and will not hold the misfit in place properly. Every time you push on it to see your progress it pops out of the wristband, and after 3 weeks my band snapped in half. Also I would not buy the white/frost color again, because you cannot see the progress lights when you are outside or in a bright place and it gets dirty looking with gentle use.

However! I bought it on the 14th and it is now no longer working as of midnight on the 21st. Also! Buyer be warned, the flash does not have the ability to track naps yet. It only auto tracks your sleep if you fall asleep between 8pm and 5 am. Not handy. They will be adding that feature, and the shine ALREADY does it. Now, my unit's probably just defective, so here's how handy this thing is. It comes with a wristband that's really kind of annoying plastic but not too bad, it feels yucky if you get it sweaty. The clip is decent also. It's a pretty good tracker for the price, I just wish mine worked.

I purchased this item for my wife and she is having a fun time using it. A co-worker of hers' mentioned about her and her husband having success. We had a issue with it, but MISFIT helped us out and enjoy the feedback. That was a plus for us because I would not endorse a product if a company would not help the consumer purchasing. We later purchased one for me to use in the pool.

I purchased this on Friday night, 1/30. By Tuesday the ring in the wrist band broke causing the flash to dislodge. I decided to wear the flash with the clip attachment until I would be able to return it on the weekend. I wore the flash with the clip accessory for a day and a half until the clip slipped off unbeknownst to me. I contacted Misfit Thursday evening and although I got a nice e-mail saying they'd get back with me "shortly," this is Saturday morning and I've yet to hear anything else from them. I will try to return to BestBuy, I guess, but I'm assuming I'll only receive a partial refund since I'm missing the flash and the clip. All I have to return is a broken wristband with the box and very inadequate instructions. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY like I did. P.S. I gave it one star only because BestBuy would not allow me to keep it blank.

I also have a Moto 360 smartwatch. So this was refreshing to have something less complex. I got 5 of these little things (family for Christmas) and while they are a cool pedometer and sleep tracker, you can lose it really easily. I had it on clipped to my jeans pocket at work last Sunday, got home and found out that it fell off at some point.

For those looking to get into fitness tracking at an affordable cost, this does the job.

Absolutely loved my flash!! I literally would brag about it and would try to show it off to everyone! but than after like a week and a half the strap broke like others! I was so sad!!! I tried the clip but I don't like it I love the strap! Now I am debating either to buy a new one and try it out again or go with a different brand.

I first bought the pink one went swimming and yep it broke went dead. Best buy replaced it - next one the stap broke- really?? I love it but best buy gonna think something's wrong when I keep coming back - but once again they replaced it - got the next one splash on by my kids snd it broke three times three different flashes - and best buy replaced it - I will not use it best water ever this is not waterproof a little bit nor at all - that being said I'm in love with it tracks movement and sleep and encourages you to do better in both ! My husband got the griffin wearable and I'm gonna buy it too a lot more comfy than the plastic but even with the non waterproof and plastic break I still love it- teresa

I absolutely loved my Misfit Flash for the 2 weeks it lasted. After that, the band broke. I was very disappointed. My sister & brother in law both had Misfits, too, and their bands broke within a week of their purchases. Skip this product & go for a Fitbit.

I have had no problem syncing with mac os, but have not been able to find misfit on android. Attached to my shoe after a week on my wrist and more accurate steps. Would recommend. nothing fancy, simple, works for the budget conscious consumer.

I got this because I wanted a calorie counter for my steps, and I loved the color. It was the color of light neon green. I attached the device, to the band, and the band changed color from my hands when handling it. There was prints of pinkish hues on it. When I downloaded the app, I didn't see a calorie counter. The next day I used the clip instead of the band, and the clip became unattached twice. The second was the last time I saw it, I had only used it for a day! And the clip, did not do a very good job of clipping onto my pant pocket! So sad to see it go, I wanted to use a for a while longer, but no, the clip didn't work from activity. There goes my money for that.

Compare to the Shine, the Flash is made of all plastic construction and it is quite a bit thicker. It is definitely not the sexy device the Shine is. But at a fraction of the price, that is fine... except when it completely stopped working after less than 2 months of normal daily use. The flash was worn daily with the clip on clothing. It was never dropped, never touched water, never abused. In fact it was used in a very careful fashion. But regardless, now it doesn't stay on consistently... it would come on after a button press, then shuts. Pressing the button only work sometimes. Changed new batteries but did not help. Avoid this product, it is not worth the trouble.

This is my first fitness & activity tracker and i must say that, this does a pretty good job. I really like the watch face of it, that comes handy with a click. Though it doesn't automatically recognizes various activities, there is a shorthand feature to tag it against long press. The app also comes clean that integrates well with Health app.

Awesome device for the price-point. I have been researching trackers for several months and couldn't decide on one I really liked. Alas, Misfit Wearables comes along, Very light and comfortable (I can hardly feel it on my wrist), fashionable (I have to dress up for work and some of these trackers are just plain ugly), and the app has a lot of great features and the misfit products can now connect to a ton of other cool apps. I was also worried because I have tiny wrists but this device doesn't look bulky or out of place so I love that! Everything was super easy to use and setup I had no issues there. I will definitely be recommending this device to all my friends who are in the market for fitness trackers.

The device itself seems to work fine, but the band broke within 1 week. I contacted customer service and they are sending a new band, but I am sure it will break again. According to customer service, there is not a new band for purchase. This means you must be without the device for about a week or two while they send you a new one. At this rate I will wait longer for a new band than the first one lasted to begin with. If they make an adjustment to the band, I will amend this review, until then I cannot recommend this product to anyone.
