I like that this functions as a watch also and the fact I don't have to charge it! Runs on a watch battery. Good app too.

I bought it for water activities but the owner's manual said not to wear it in chemically treated water. I am in the warm water pool almost every day. The clock was just a series of lights around a circle which was too difficult for me to read. I also didn't like the idea of wearing a strong magnet on my wrist which might interfere with medical devices. The style and band was nice.

This was exactly as described . Made it better that I don't have to charge it.

I had previously purchased a Misfit Flash and was unhappy with the consistency. My husband had purchased a Shine and was very pleased with its performance.

What caught my eye was the sleek look of the Shine, the multiple wearability options, and comparable price. It's very easy to use, doesn't have too many buttons or combos to remember and is good for a basic movement tracker. Unfortunately, there are very few workout apps that pair with this, and if you come into contact with ANY metal, the Shine will literally jump off your clothes and stick. So far, it has stuck to my washer, the steel door frame of my office, the fridge, and the garage. Twice, I had the Shine clipped around my bra inside my shirt and it was yanked out. Funny, but a little awkward. Another time, it was found outside my office by security in the cross walk...no idea how it fell off. Overall, I like the concept. Would I purchase it again? No. Probably go get a Fitbit or other similar product for approximately the same money. Speaking of my Shine...now where'd it go??

Works wonderfully. I like the fact no charging is required, and can swim with it.

This works well and is waterproofed well. The alarm is a sound-based alarm from the phone's app. It would be better if the Shine vibrated to wake you.

I chose the misfit over the competitors due to it being water proof. So far I've been quite happy with it.

This product works great. It tracks my sleep my fitness and just a simple double tap to find out the time.

I've been tracking this tracker since it was gift on Indiegogo. The idea was great, but I wanted to see it in person before I purchase. The reviews were okay, but not strong enough for me to buy. I purchased a FitBit One (good) and then a FitBit Force (recalled). I decided to finally try the Shine as a Daily Deal. I was excited to receive it. It was easy to set up and the build quality was too notch. I put it into its holder. I went to do the laundry and it magnetically stuck to the washer...thankfully it didn't fall off. I was doing house chores and it did fall off - at least twice. I walked around the block and it worked well. As soon as I walked into my house, it fell off again. I put it back on. I put a jacket on and sat in my car. It fell off again. I was excited to show my coworkers, but as I was about to, it fell off again. Disappointed, I put it into my coat pocket, went home, picked up the box, and returned it to my local Best Buy. When they come out with a version 2.0, I'll be interested in trying it again.

I like the functions of this tracker. However the difference between the flash and shine is not great enough to substantiate the higher price.

Still getting up to speed on the technology, but enjoying, discovering... goals being made and getting a good push to keep up and surpass them

Does everything it says. Syncs easily with IPhone. If you don't like to wear on your wrist, you can choose other areas on your body also.

I really liked this device, although the smart app was a bit too glitchy, had I not been a garmin user I would still use this device.

I had so much fun with this product that I bought one for my wife and she has had just as much fun and success as I'm having.

For the most part, the shine does what it's suppose to do, but occasionally it doesn't track your activity or sleep correctly.

I bought this for my wife and she loves it. Actually bought myself the misfit flash so we could compete against each other.
