The Misfit Shine is a stylish and accurate activity tracker. It has helped on giving me motivation to loose weight and stay active. You can adjust the goals depending how are you want to make to achieve those goals. Different activities such as running and biking give you more points than walking. The sleep tracker is also excellent. I noticed I was getting enough deep sleep so I adjusted my sleep schedule. I would definitely recommend this product!!

The product and the concept itself is good. I don't have others to compare it to. I did like the fact it tracked steps and activity. My biggest complaint is that this disc fits into a rubber bracelet (or a magnetic clip for your pants or shirt) with a very thin band to hold in place. You also have the option to purchase other accessory holders such as a necklace. My biggest concern came true when one day I looked down it was gone. I searched my gym bag, my car, and my home but no luck. It was lost. This was a Christmas gift and was very disappointed. The design to hold this compared to Fitbits and Garmin has a lot to be desired. Garmin has a locking wristband.

I really enjoyed using it till it fell off the holder in the middle of a store and not able to get it back. I had been using it every day, tracking steps, sleep and enjoyed the app. I don't like to use it you need to buy different holders for it.

This is the best work out bracelet that you literally just put on and it knows what you are doing ! You can track your sleep and follow friends with this product ! You can even do a food journal !

I have bought 3 of these in t he last year, 1 for my wife. One fell out of the flimsy band, a common complaint, I got smart and used a little scotch tape on the next one. We loved them when they work, they have both quit for no good reason, they have new batteries and that did not help. Mine quit recording sleep data a couple months before it quit totally, I did not care. Then it started going to sleep when I was active and not recording anything, usually starting at noon for some reason, now totally dead

The band on this item DOES NOT hold the face of the product well and pops out with daily use. Within 1 month my husband and I had both lost the face of our Misfit Shine. DO NOT waste your money on this poor design, instead buy a product that is all one piece. It takes little to no pressure to remove the face from the cheap silicon band and if you arent lucky enough to hear it hit the floor you will be without it as we are.

The name misfit says it all. It popped out after 2 day. I complained and got a new one and now I can't get the lights to turn on and I can't get it to sync to my smart phone. It is worthless. My son has the cheaper version and he can check the lights to come on any time. I have to tap just right or take a hammer to it. I wish I would have never of bought it.

got this for my sister in law for christmas and she uses it everyday. she was not dissapointed to receive it and talks about its benefits all the time she definitely loves it!

I purchased my Misfit from Best Buy in mid-December. After the first week, I had to replace the battery. After a couple more weeks, the product became glitchy and intermittently responsive to tapping. Then about one week after I could no longer return it to Best Buy, it went dead. Dealing with Misfit CS is a nightmare. They offer a 60 day product satisfaction guarantee. The emails runaround was a joke. Then you can't even get your money back. You can only get a replacement for the lemon product you already have. Do your research! The positive reviews are from their own representatives. Everyone is having trouble with the Misfit! Look at Twitter and FB accounts. Overwhelmed with complaints and notations of their horrible CS!

I've had it for all of a week. I love how it looks and how low profile it is. Its extremely comfortable and attractive for an activity monitor. My only problem is it's very inaccurate. I walked to my bedroom door and back (I'm in an 750sq foot apartment). It said in took 60 steps. I understand it isn't going to be extremely accurate but come on, I took like 10 steps. I need a little but more accuracy, on to the FitBit!

I have had no issues with the misfit shine I use it daily. The only thing they could improve on is a better sleep tracker but I'm not too worried about that because I leave it in the auto mode. As I mentioned the customer service is super. I would up breaking my clip for it and the sent me a new one for free. The will also supposedly send free battery replacements as well!

I have been through 2 fit bits and now have chosen the misfit. Due to poor design on the charge of fit bit,I had no choice other than jump ship and head another direction. I adore the fit bit but after 2 failed ones,good by. I am glad this is a battery charge device but lacks the app on the computer or smart phone.

I purchased this on 7/19/2015. I set it up as soon as I returned to my car. It worked fine that afternoon. When I tried to open the app the next day, it would not open. I uninstalled it and re-installed, still would not work. I will be returning it today.

Sports Band made of inferior material. Stretches out within one month and Misfit Shine falls out. Totally insecure. Customer Service is automated. Offers replacement of same inferior product but no other resolve even after second time.

I had it for 5 days. Wore it on my wrist everyday. Clipped it to my waistband and lost it. I really enjoyed the sleep monitoring aspect of it while I had it. Thinking about getting another one, but will only use the wristband if I do.

Where do I begin with the problems.... 1. To synch with the iPhone, you have to tap the screen hard....not so great for my phone! 2. When putting the shine in a holder, you have to tap to get it to light and determine the 12 O'Clock position and keep it lined up when putting it in the magnetic clasp or watch band. 3. Ring on the magnetic clasp broke after taking it out and trying to put it in the 2nd time. 4. Watch band is too small for a man (or anything above a petite woman) to wear without looking silly. 5. As I was setting it up, updating the firmware, and synching over the course of 10 minutes, I never left my seat. According to the Shine, however, I'd taken 20 steps!! Seriously??? That tells me all I need to know It goes back tomorrow. How disappointing and what a hassle. Shame on the company for releasing such a substandard product.

I love my misfit!!! Its Great! I use it for everything it also track even swimming completely accurately!!

Tech companies need to get up to speed. If they are only going to cater to one part of the market they need to say so, clearly, on the packaging. No fine print. This was bought as a gift for me, only to find once you open the box and read the literature that it really only works with the more recent iPhones, some Android phones and no Windows phones. Result an opened packaged product gets returned to the store. I get that tech development is expensive and companies sometimes have to choose which part of the market they are going to exploit but you need to let the consumer in on the secret. All techies are consumers but not all consumers (by any means) are techies.

Purchased two of these and they both worked great however after the batteries died in each one they didn't work, shine replaced one of them - I decided to nothing with the 2nd one when it didn't work.

The clasp lasted only 4 months. It fell off unknowingly and is now lost. Can't see paying $100 every 4 months
