If you're looking for a watch or a calorie counter, this is not the monitor for you. But it does a great job tracking both activities and sleep without requiring my thinking about it.

I really like the band and how it works with my phone. The app is great and so easy to use. The band is light and very comfortable.

The shine has been a good first activity tracker. I wish I could set goals for number of steps as opposed to just time of activity. Over all this has been a good purchase.

I opted for the flash vs. the shine because they essentially work the same. You're really paying for the material of the wristband and clip. Though that is the one gripe I have with this product - the plastic material is easy to break, and it's not compatible with most accessories meant for the shine. But it's not worth bringing down my overall opinion of it. When the plastic gives will vary depending on how well you care for your things. I love mine, I wear it all the time, and I love the accompanying app :)

This little gadget works fine for me. I only want to know if I am moving. Bonus that it tracks my sleep and I know whether I am getting real rest. As most other reviews stated the Shine is easily lost. I resorted to using painters tape to secure it to my shoe while walking and exercising. I tape it to the wrist strap for daily wear so I don't lose it. Connects to MyFitnessPal for calorie counting. Serves my purpose.

Have been using this fitness tracker for quite a few months now and thoroughly enjoy its versatility. I like that I can place it almost anywhere on my body for different workouts or even sleeping. The other big selling point was being able to use it in and under water. My last pedometer got fried since I accidentally left it in my pocket at the beach in the water. The Misfit app is also great with the ability to tie in with other fitness apps that I use including the iPhone Health app.

Love it!! Very efficient, works wonders. Love that it's super easy to use & understand. Water proof is always a plus!!

The device is very nice looking and works as indicated. I feel it was a really good value for the price I paid and it gives you a nice incentive to get moving.

Purchased this for my wife. She really likes it. Ability to wear it in different ways is one of the best features. The tracking seems to be reasonable accurate.

I bought the Shine specifically to track my sleep at night and overall activity during the day. It does a good job at both and makes me get up and move more when I see my daily activity is low. I had a Misfit Flash and upgraded to the Shine because it is sturdier and I bought the upgraded bracelet. The Flash would pop out of the bracelet provided with it but the upgraded bracelet for the Shine has not done that in the several weeks I've had it. Very satisfied with the Shine.

Had a fitbit first, went through two of them and they both stopped working wouldn't hold a charge. Since the misfit doesn't have a charger I love it, it's a watch battery so it lasts. Tracts my steps and my calories also my sleep which is what I wanted. Easy to use and set up, downloaded app and was off and running.

This shine was a gift for my daughter, I already have one and it measure running,walking and swimming along with your sleep patterns. Also the company is attentive to your needs as the app I guess picked up it was having trouble syncing so I received an email letting me know they would send me batteries if I filled out the form request. I did and in about a week my batteries came in the mail with the tool to remove the back. No more slow sync problems!

This device is great at tracking activity as long as you are actively moving. It would be nice if it could track activity when working with weights.

Great item. Easy app and great fit. No problems and high quality. Much better than the misfit flash!

I like the features of this device and it works as expected. As expected, I find myself walking more to get in my steps and I can tap the unit to see my progress or check the time. The software has updated and now tracks many more activities that it did originally! It does a good job tracking sleep and steps. The only issue I've had is the original wrist band broke within a week. I did get a new band for free and so far it is fine.

This is just great. I love the fact that I don't have to charge it every week and that its waterproof.

This is a replacement for a garmin vivosmart. Don't need to charge device every five days. Waterproof

This is very easy to use, even for someone who is not very tech savvy. My only complaint is that the battery does not last very long.

So glad I decided on this product. I love it! So easy to use and you don't have to charge it.

Love the fact it's waterproof and no charging with the battery. I now work out daily again.
