This was purchased for my husband to see if he could get use to wearing a tracker on his wrist. It doesn't have as many features as my Fit-bit, and can only sync with a phone or iPod, but not a computer. It is nice that it is waterproof. It is easy to loose or locate when it is not on the wristband. It's an okay product for the price.

I love how this keeps track of how long I sleep and how many steps I take in a day.

I got one of these to replace a Jawbone UP. I think Jawbone's software is much more comprehensive than the Misfit app, but I appreciate the minimalist design of the Shine. It is very unobtrusive. I think the Shine is a good device for someone who wants solid exercise and sleep data but no daily interruptions from their device.

Useful for keeping track of my steps; however could use better nutrition interface. Perhaps add a few more activities.

I Love that it is waterproof!! My last one (Fit) wristband was not waterproof and I use the pool at the Health Club.

My wife wears it nonstop, she likes how she doesn't have to charge it every day. The app is very easy to utilize.

The misfit shine is a great product. The wrist band supplied is not so sturdy, I wish it came with a metal band.

I asked for a Fitbit and my aunt told me about the misfit shine. I looked it up and went to purchase it for my birthday. It is awesome! A friend of mine has a Fitbit and now would rather have the shine. I would recommend the misfit shine to anyone who is looking for an extra motivational tool to help get healthier and be more active. I compete with my results daily.

My husband is incredibly active but was very interested in measuring the quality of his sleep. I bought this for him as a gift and it has been very accurate measuring his activity level and provided some insight into his sleep patterns. This model is very low profile, the band looks nice and he says it is very comfortable to wear. Highly recommend the Fitbit Shine!

Tracks movement including sleep. Very nice that it can clip on limbs to track movement like bike riding.

I really liked this Misfit device. I think it is very clever and nice looking. Very easy to use as well as convenient along with the app. All was great until the Misfit device popped out of my wrist band at some point today. Not while exercising; just normal daily wear. I have owned this device for only three weeks and not I am out of luck and will need to pick up a new one. I really wish I could recommend this but the fact that it popped out of the wrist band so easily after such a short period of ownership is very discouraging. I would encourage caution before purchasing. I would reconsider purchasing again at some point if the wrist band is redesigned.

I really enjoy the misfit shine. It is very comfortable and I hardly notice that it is on my wrist. I am hoping that they will be updating the software soon to add more features, but it is easy to use. I bought the silver necklace and it was beautiful, however I only wore it for 2 hours and my neck broke out in a huge rash all the way around where the chain was sitting. It would be nice if they came out with more accessories for it.

It took three tries before finding one that worked as depicted. Be patient, it is worth it.

I bought this and the wristband for my wife for Christmas. We are avid swimmers and divers so she really wanted one that can be worn while swimming. We are Android users and Misfit claims that it will sync with Androids (Samsung Galaxy specifically). It would not sync. At all. Luckily we have an iPad which it sync flawlessly up with. Since then, my wife has had no problems with it and loves it's flexibility. She wears it with the magnet during the day and on the wristband at night to monitor her sleep. Highly recommend if you are an Apple user.

Works good, had trouble getting it to sync at first but seems to be working fine now.

a;soI hoped to also be able to use it as a watch, but the display is impossible to see in the sun. I'd like to be able to calibrate it so the distance covered is accurate. For example, I hiked a known distance of 4 miles, but the Misfit only gave me credit for 2.7 miles.

Love that it is waterproof. Very easy to use and wear.
