You have to buy the watch band or necklace separately bc it does not come with it. Themagnetic clip works pretty well but small size makes it easy to drop or misplace. Sometimes,not doesnt respond when you tap it like its supposed to. It does show good info, but mine is lost after just a few weeks! I wish I gotten a watch style!

I am disappointed in how easily the sport band dislodges from the monitor. It has dropped out on 2 occasions and I was panicked trying to find it. On another occasion, the fastener came off the sport band and I had to go back to the store. Now, I am continually concerned that it might drop out or fall apart.

The twelve small dots on the face of this Misfit are how this device communicates with the user. It gives you two pieces of information; the time and percent of goal. Time is therefore shown in increments of 5 minutes and goal is shown in 8.33% of goal for each dot. You can quickly see this this form of communication is definitely "ball park". It's an estimate of where you are versus where you want to be. For the price one would think it would tell you more or display it better. It does link to their web site where you can get a more accurate representation of your daily activity. As a whole I think this device is name appropriately "Misfit". I found it not very useful and returned it within a few hours of buying it. I definitely would not recommend buying this if you want other than approximates about your daily activities.

I bought this for my wife, and she loves it. That is all I can say. My wife would recommend it to friends.

Love it. Clip it to my sock and keeps perfect count. Magnet is string. I clip it on my bracelet at night.

The device is designed quite nicely. It has very little weight and is not bulky like some of its contenders. I bike so the feature i was most excited to use was its calorie tracking for that activity. This is where the "subpar" comes in... after 2 tries of 5 hrs total the shine only detected about 16 mins total of actual BIKING. That was more than disappointing. The actual other features seemed accurate. The app was also subpar because it was not as user friendly as you would expect since that is where the majority of the information is reviewed.

Had a problem with it but company sent a new one to replace it

The Shine looked cool but I wanted more so we bought the Fitbit Surge

My shine is somewhere along Rt A1A due to the flimsy sport band.

This misfit replaced my fitbit. While the do the same thing, the misfit does it so much better.

It would kind of disconnect from my phone, confusing at first

The manufacturer did an excellent job troubleshooting and replacing our defective unit!! The color matches a lot of outfits although when it clashes the magnetic adapter is a creative solution for discreet, daily use whether at work or play. A great investment for us so far!!

I'm not crazy about the way it syncs, but I love the fact that the battery is user replaceable and lasts for a long time. It's not really that obtrusive to wear and if you had the necklace accessory, it would not be bad at all.

Brought this for my daughter who is very active. Wanted a way for her to see her activity level. Looked at several trackers but didn't like the look or the price. Was advised to try the misfit shine so far she likes it.

I had trouble finding exact information on how to use.

It's good. But it does have some cons to it. But its good
