Year end and year, this is the best baseball game for the PS3.

My son loves to play this game and I enjoy it too.

Fun game. I bought it for my little brother and ended up playing it with him. Great season mode and fun two player games.

Would be great to start season and use live rosters as season goes on with live trade and signing and injurys

With the yearly release of almost all of the major sports games, it can end up being a waste of money buying the new version every year, and getting pretty much the same exact game as the previous year, with minimal effort in improving and updating the game. I've been hooked on MLB: The Show since it's initial launch. It seems to nail every aspect of the game, and the yearly tweaks, adjustments, additions, and improvements keep it fresh and new from year to year. And the graphics are ALWAYS stunning and realistic. Every part of this game is fun. Whether you're managing a franchise, or playing online against a 12-year-old in Asia, it's all good. Most of all, the Road To The Show (RTTS) mode is what keeps me coming back for more. Of all the career modes in all of the sports games I've played, RTTS mode is the most satisfying of all. Making your character, getting drafted (or picking your team), and working your way up from AA, through AAA, and finally to the majors is extremely fun, and progressing through your career and into the Hall of Fame is so awesome! I could go on and on... I'll just stop here and say that if you have any interest in baseball at all, or any interest in sports games in general, and you haven't played a MLB: The Show game, you're missing out on an amazing franchise. Definitely a top-shelf sports game. Really just a top-shelf game, period.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves playing the MLB games during baseball season and likes having the updated players for his teams.

Based upon last years game the expectations may be too high but if the creators of this years version have been playing NBA 2K13 and NHL14 they should know what to do. Official Review to come...

MLB franchise never fails to impress. I like the season mode and the Road to the Show. I like the RTTS in this years game as opposed to last years.

AWESOME. Buy it. You need it. This is so realistic my in-laws think I am actually watching a game! Keeps getting better every year.

My son bought the game when on sale and loves it..

A nice installment to the franchise. A noticeable improvement from my last purchase in the series ('10). Load times are considerably better, and graphics look good. I'd give 4.5 if I could.

MLB The Show is the standard by which all baseball games are judged so their is no surprise 2K quit baseball. I didn't wanna wait a month for PS4 version so I grabbed this and glad I did. So much fun, if you like baseball this game is a must.
