Nowhere near what a next gen sports game should be like. At LEAST once a game your players do something glitchy. Not to mention the online matchmaking is terrible. You can't even get into a game.

I got a chance to play a few innings and see the new features at a MLB event during spring training this week. I am officially hyped and can't wait to play my favorite sports game again with even more goodies for 2016! I am going to preorder the deluxe edition of the game but wanted to sing it's praises here as well for all to see. :)

Way to complicating to play hate the game. Will not buy another baseball game again.

This is one of the few sports games I tend to always buy annually, unlike most of the EA offerings. The reason for this is the studio who makes this game is very dedicated to this series and in my opinion always add enough every year for me to keep coming back for more. This is also a very realistic simulation of baseball I feel even down to the sun angles at different times of the year it will look exactly as it would in real life in that exact stadium. The only thing I could knock this series for is the player faces and bodies. At the moment I feel San Diego Studios is lacking really far behind NBA 2K and even FIFA somewhat in player likenesses if they could step up their game in this area and as well as better commentary this would definitely be far and away the best yearly sports series. Heck it may already be so.

I was a big fan of mlb all star (mainly the series 1997-2002) idk what happened to the franchise. anyway from there i played high heat and a few others. high heat was fun, i liked the draft mode but the physics seemed funky. this new game here...i decided to try it, i was bored one day coming home from work and decided to pick it up. it has everything you'd expect from a modern baseball game and the graphics are great. it's good old fashion arcade style basell. just press the square button for power, circle for contact or x for inbetween (now too hard not too soft). you can aim with the analog stick to better direct your swing. usuallyi dont even bother using the analog stick and still have success. homerun derby is my favorite mode, you simply choose a player and slug away with up to 10 other people at the same time. its elimination mode for 5 minutes each round you each take turns hitting homeruns, usually the winner will have 15-20 home runs. ive gotten pretty good at this after about a week of playing and sometimes i liked to troll others by beating them with jose reyes or some other known hitter who has little power (his power is ranked 39, compared to like giancarlo who has 96). anyway its simple, don't expect too much. too me this will last me for a couple of years, i see no point in upgrading to the new 17 unless it introduces something mind boggingly good which i highly doubt. i barely even use all of the features of this game as is, i havent really dwelled into franchise mode, i just like playing regular games or home run derby online. also its not like the old games where people hit 600 and 700 foot homeruns regularly, it is very uncommon for a homerun to go past 550 feet, even with the strongest hitters in the game.match of the week seems fun but if anyone can let me know if theres any hidden charges before i sign up for it it would be appreciated. anyway yeah thats my review. fun game, pick it up and hit some runs.

Bought this game after owning a few previous editions of the show. Mostly play RTTS but that makes it worth it in itself. Easy enough for the casual player and deep enough for the most hardcore baseball fan .

Been a long while since I've purchased a baseball game, but I'm so glad I picked this one. The hitting is intuitive and pitching is fun. I've really been enjoying the Road to the Show mode where you experience the climb from AA to the big leagues.

Great baseball game with great features. Only legit baseball game left out there, so it's hard not to buy as a big baseball fan. Online mode has some glitches that are being worked on by the makers of the game. Still an awesome overall game!

My kids play all the time. It easy enough for a 5 year ole while also occupying a 15 year old for hours in season mode.
