This game was an excellent gift for my brother who loves baseball! The graphics are amazing and he loves to play it!

This game is pretty fun whether playing against the CPU or with a friend online. Batting mechanics don’t seem quite as difficult as previous ones which is nice - still definitely takes some practice and skill, but it seems easier to spot balls from strikes, and contact is easier for new players. Retro mode wasn’t as good as hoped but I may not have given it enough of a chance. Some seem to love it! If you like baseball and didn’t get the previous title, I’d recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and get this game. If you don't have a playstation then it might be worth getting one just so you can get this game. They make other baseball games for other devices, but anyone who is being honest will tell you nothing can compare to the show. I will continue to buy it every year, no matter what. It never disappoints, and I mean on every level. Graphics can be breathtaking and the actual videos of places near the stadiums is a nice touch. I always do the Road to the Show mode and a little caution warning, it can be very addicting, especially if you are a big baseball fan. Just buy it and you won't regret it

This is my first baseball game purchase. It's a good game, and for the price I would definitely recommend it.

This is a fun game for my son to play alone or with his dad! Great affects to the game as well, and ok music.

I've been a big fan of this series since I bought the first one on PS3. I play RTTS mode every year, 8-10 years into the mode. The last 2yrs, I've been able to transfer my character to the newest version and extend the playing career. The problem with this game is the same every year (well at least last 3yrs)...lack of working servers. If you are big on online play (i.e. Diamond Dynasty), you might have trouble playing the game. Every year they patch the game and sooner or later, the servers start working. As of now, I give it 3 stars; I'm sure later that would go up to 4 or five stars. If you can get it now on sale, I would buy it; otherwise, wait till servers are working.

The near perfect game can only be improved by spending some time on Franchise mode. I recommend buying this game if you are a fan of playing against CPU AI or against a friend. I play against friends online and have a wonderful time and enjoy my franchise
