my kids love the game of baseball and this game is enjoyable for us all.

My son loves this game! The Dynasty Mode allows you to customize every aspect of your player and team. He's created a player and has slowly watched him progress from being drafted to AAA. Deep statistics and variables have captured him. He spends much of his time tinkering with contracts and his team composition, that I think the actual gameplay is secondary. But he loves that too. Have yet to explore the online aspect of this game but it will certainly keep him engrossed for hours. Good, clean gaming.

MLB The Show is a great series that every baseball fan will enjoy. Sure there are bugs and much like Madden, there's mundane carry over from year-to-year that is frustrating. However, the presentation, graphics, and attention to detail stand out, and overall, The Show is one of the best sports games/series out there, period. Fun addition with "Retro Mode" this year and very deep with multiple gameplay modes to choose from. Easy to lose sleep and cancel plans with a game like this :)

While it may be the only realistic (read: non-arcade-style) baseball game, Sony San Diego certainly doesn’t slack off. Accurate and fun, The Show delivers year after year. This year’s installment seems to have resolved some of the infrequent choppiness that could come in multiplayer environments resulting in smooth gameplay if you’re playing friends on the couch or across the world. A must-have for any baseball fan. And don’t forget to fire up retro mode for that classic arcade baseball feel.

Even though the Show is PS4 only, this is a high quality baseball title, and easily to pickup and play for any baseball fan.

The Show is consistently one of the best sports games put out each year, and the 17 version is no exception. the modes are super deep and there is literally something for everyone (if you are a baseball fan).

I'm playing in Franchise mode, but the game is totally awesome. For some reason I always get a network error when running the game but it hasn't detracted from the game experience yet. I've played lots of baseball video games and this one is really good. It's an improvement over last year's version (adjusts the difficulty as you get better). I played mlb 2k back when they used to make it this is better. I also find this game way better than rbi baseball. The graphics and gameplay are way better.

The show 17 offers more bang for your buck versus previous versions

Presentation/Availability: Product was well packaged with no broken/opened box. There were many available at the store. Performance/Gameplay: My review is for the PS4. If you like sport games, then you will definitely like this game. You don’t need experience in previous MLB The Show games to play this one. Image resolution (gameplay and theatrical) is very good and the sound is good as well. The option I like the most is that now I have the ability to choose the park that I want to play at, either MLB or minor league or others. Team rosters are almost up to date, except minor differences on players positions on the field (which I don’t mind). I play with my kids every time I can, we all like it. Customer service: Very good customer service. I was greeted by an employee as soon as I walked through the door.

Fun Fun Fun. Great graphics. Every year it gets better and better.

I love this game! I am on the "every other year" plan for my upgrade to "the Show", so I'm comparing based on my time with a version from 2 years ago. So many updates were made, improved base running, battling control seems better, and such a clean looking game! This is by far the best baseball game you can get your hands on!

Had t played a baseball game in a while. Nice visuals and a must

17 picks up where 16 left off (literally). This is my second year playing the show, and I love that you can bring in your RTTS and franchise from 16. I know this has been a feature for a while, but its awesome. I wish other sports games had this feature. The retro mode is cool to try, but gets boring pretty quickly. It does remind me of old RBI baseball though. Overall, this game continues to move in a great direction, and doesn't appear stagnant. A worthwhile upgrade from 16.

Great graphics and gameplay i like tge career mode and arcade

Sony San Diego kills it yet again with the best sports franchise on consoles. Many sports games are just an annual roster update with a new tweek or two; MLB The Show annually offers genuine updates, overhauls and new modes of play. Diamond Dynasty, Road to the Show, and Conquest mode are each as addicting to play as anything out there. Highly recommended. PLAY BALL!

I have this game, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to play it yet though. I bought it for a friend too and he recently told it is the most amazing game he has ever played. He can't get over how realistic it is and estimates that he has lost at least 3 hours per night of sleep since he started in early April. I can't wait to start playing it. I've owned every Show since they've started and they get better each year, I'm sure that this year is not going to be an exception.
