This game has great features. The RTTS and Franchise options really allow for extended game play.

This years MLB has really improved upon last years. The game is easier to pick up for newer players. The graphics are always amazing and road to the show is a lot funner to play. It amazed me how each year santa monica studios keeps improving the game. We are lucky that sony has an amazing MLB game unlike Xbox. I really recommend this game if you want to keep up with MLB season and play an amazing game.

I was a massive MVP Baseball fan back in the day and put hours and hours into MVP Baseball 2005. While that franchise has gone away, The Show has stepped up and taken it's place. MLB The Show 17 takes the simulation to the next level and provides tons of amazing game modes with great graphics. Highly reccommend if you are a baseball fan and even if you aren't, it's a great way to get into the sport.

MLB The Show continually knocks it out of the park with a great baseball experience. The game is better than MVP Baseball ever was, I don't care what all the guys who long for the past say about that. It's crisp, clean, easy for anyone to pick it up and use it. Plus the new retro mode is a ton of fun with friends. Those of us who grew up playing like Griffey Baseball are just loving it.

Commentary gets repetitive very very quick. I have not played any baseball games in a good 5 years so not sure if it's always like that. I've heard "digging in at the plate" 37474838 times. Apart from that, it's pretty solid gameplay. Awesome graphics and well rounded regardless of mode. I haven't played online matches but I've heard nothing but bad there. Some controls I need to get used to or see if I can change. When running bases I tend to press L toward the base. When running from 3rd to home you have to press L up instead of down to advance. I've found myself in plenty of bad situations when it comes to base running. I'm a noob though.

First time getting MLB The Show. Incredible graphics and easy for first timers.

Good graphics and playability. Stadiums and players are extremely favorable which makes the game feel as realistic as ever. Would definitely recommend to baseball enthusiasts.
