Xbox owners that are baseball fans are surely envious of their PS4 owning friends, because Sony's MLB The Show series is the best baseball simulation on the market, hands down. It is a reason to buy a PS4 for sports game aficionados.

It's been a while since I last played a baseball game. Actually, I haven't played since the PS1 era. Well, I am glad I decided to get back into it. What made it easier was the price. I mean, for $40 ($32 for players club) you get a lot of content. The presentation was top notch. Commentary is on point. The gameplay is good. But what made it even better was the Retro mode. I highly recommend it!

MLB the Show17 made some major changes, the most noticeable were the graphics and the difficulty. It is a beautiful game and plays nicely, the challenge is there even at lower difficulties. A perfect game for anyone that loves Baseball!

Great addition to the show series. Every years iteration is always 1 step ahead of the previous years. Graphics are great, gameplay is true to life and it makes you feel like you're really at the park. A must have for any baseball fan.

As with most sports games, each year we get new rosters, stadiums, and improved animations. That's pretty much what you get with The Show 17, but the game play has been refined this year as well. A worthy upgrade for fans of the series.

If your a huge fan of baseball then MLB The Show 17 is the game for you. What I like about it are the graphics, and you can pay tribute to the old video game of past by playing in retro mode. If you buy this game, you won't regret it.

bought this game for my son as a Christmas gift and he loves it

The Show baseball is a solid game to play, any year is good to start with. Controls are easy, so much to do, especially playing was Ken Griffey JR on this one... his hall of fame year. It’s a must have.

I am a big fan of the MLB the Show series. Ball physics are now more realistic. If you have the PS4 Pro, 4K is supported and the graphics and player model has been upgraded. HDR is also supported. If you like baseball, buy this game!
