Awesome for MLB fans

He didn’t sleep the first night he got it and I can tell he was having the time of his life playing this game.

In season mode (2018) as you progress through the season you’ll level up (this is out of your control) the difficultly will increase whether you want it to or not. I understand that the whole point of a video game, most games allow you to control difficulty level (MLB the show 2018 does not).

I can’t see buying these games every year but they finally had a Yankee on the cover so I wanted to buy. However, with that being said... I thought it’d be a huge improvement over 2014. Wrong. The commentating hasn’t gotten ANY better, there’s still an issue with check swinging even when you fully commit, my outfielders have missed catching way too many outs that would have been cake for the professional players in a real game and cost me many runs, the infielders sometimes hold the ball for way too long when you’re clearly telling them to throw it... just awful. I’m confident in saying they’ll never upgrade these games... they’ll just keep updating the rosters to get more money.
