Prior to this I had the LG Sportwatch, Prior to that a Gear S2, prior to that a Movado. Hence I am familiar with these devices. The primary reason for a watch is to see the time, so I always keep the display on, and its a reason I never switched back to Apple. Like the other watches this watch lasts a day for me. Sometimes it goes into power saving mode before I plug it in. It's not the best battery, but its far from as horrible as some people claim. If you have a bad watchface, or power draining app, it will run out sooner just like the other watches. There is no magic. If there is a downside its the heart rate sensor. I use HeartTrace and it does not seem to stay connected. On the other hand its CHEAP.

I've been on the fence for a smartwatch for a while now, but just didn't want to spend for one where my wife would be included in my purchasing decision. Quite a few reviews mention the Ticwatch E (still don't know exact difference between it and the S besides the design), so I thought I'd go into the one by my house and take a gander. The salesperson wasn't super helpful with knowledge (No, I'm not here for a Fitbit...) but I was able to check it out in person. I liked it enough to make the plunge, and so far, I'm happy! Pros: All the features I had wanted, included built in GPS, heart rate monitoring as well as apps I wanted to try out on a smartwatch. I would say that that beside Google maps and music apps, I don't find myself using any other ones so far. It's lightweight so I wear at the gym and forget it's there - I like that! Also, the E does blend pretty well to different situations, so I find myself keeping it on everyday. Cons: It is made of synthetic materials (thus being lightweight) so you do get what you pay for. It also does need charging everyday, so it has become something where I have to remember to do that every night. Not a problem yet (as I get excited with new gadgets) but I can foresee the pain of forgetting to charge and then being annoyed I don't wear it the next day. It's almost like they should include two charging cables. Finally, no NFC. Although it is just a nice to have for me as I use my phone to pay, it would have been cool to swipe my watch at Peete's. Overall, I'm pretty happy and look forward to digging in more the next few weeks.

After about 2 full months the watch is running fine with no major issues. Depending on use the battery life isnt too bad. I turned off "always on screen" and I keep the location off and i dont use the phone to actually take calls which is an awesome feature the watch has. I also dont use maps and i leave the house at 4am at 100% every morning and by the time i get home at 3pm my watch will still have about 50%-60% charge on normal use.. Now if you are using the watch to text and email and are receiving notifications all day you will definitely need to charge the watch every night or the next morning.. However charging is super fast and all in all the only complaint i have is the same as most others and that is that the screen is delayed upon opening or waking up watch but this does not happen every time. For the price this watch is great and i recommend to anyone if you are looking to get good quality and NOT pay and arm and a leg.

This watch is an amazing buy for the price. It does health tracking, messages, gps, wifi, bluetooth. It has every function a more expensive watch does but for a great price. The only downside to it is the battery can be weak if you have GPS and other functions all running at once.

after reading all the reviews and everything i will say i was considering not buying this, but i decided what the heck and pulled the trigger. if you are considering buying this just know the always on display eats battery life so i turn it off on average i get about 8 1/2 hours now your battery life will vary depending on use. sometimes i get about 6-7 if i get a swarm of texts and calls when im at work and on standby it lasted almost a full day unconnected and bluetooth turned off. overall if you are looking for a smartwatch but dont want the smartwatch price this is the watch for you the battery is decent but again variable and the display ok outside but crisp and clear indoors.

I got this smart watch because I could get a full blown smart watch for the same price as it would have cost me to replace my FitBit Charge HR. I only have two complaints. First, I don't like the Mobvoi apps that I can't get rid of. I'd just used the Google apps anyway, so it would be great to remove the Mobvoi apps I'm not using. The battery also doesn't last long enough. For example, I can't wear the watch for 24 hours without the battery dying. This makes it hard to sleep with it on my wrist to use as an vibrating alarm in the morning. Although I still use this watch to track my exercises, it's getting kind of long in the tooth, and anyone thinking of a smart watch should probably consider something newer.

All the features you want without having to shell out $2-400. Screen has great color with only slightly visible pixels and no dead pixels. Battery life for me is about 2.5 days if you turn off the always on display. The watch was a little slow and buggy at first. After installing all the updates it was fast. Give it a minute to startup, this isn't your smart phone. Gps and wifi work great are fast to connect. Heart rate monitor works really well. I recommend not using the Tic software and stick to the Google Fit software. Nice that the manufacturer doesn't force you to use their stuff. Not alot of bloatware. Everything is optional and can be disabled in the settings. Band is really comfortable, but the clasp is plastic. If you are very active invest in a studier band. Although the clasp hasn't broken, it feels thin and flimsy. The rest of the watch is really solid. The band is very easy to swap out. The pins that secure it are metal. Not a con of watch, but it would be nice if Android Wear had a YouTube music app which is replacing Google Music soon. The watch does have a decent media controller for non native music apps. In all this is a really solid smart watch for the money and low risk if you are on the fence about smart watches.

Thanks for the comprehensive review Jonathan! You are correct that the Ticwatch E offers many features in smartwatches that are simply overpriced elsewhere. We keep value in mind with our selections and our customers have come to appreciate this while using it from day-to-day. We do have the band made to swap so that you can customize your experience with the product as best you can.

Thanks for your positive overview on our watch and we hope you continue to enjoy it.

This smartwatch is perfect if you don't want to spend $300 dollars and don't mind a plastic watch. It's not the most beautiful watch out there but it gets the job done. The watch allows me to keep my phone in my pocket where it's safe, and that's what I really wanted out of a smart watch. It allows you to control music, make timers, answer calls, reply to texts, and read notifications. You don't have to pull out your phone as much which means you're less likely to drop it with one of these. The watch is made of plastic, and the band is made of silicone, but you can change the band if you want something more comfortable. If you want to try a smartwatch and don't want to spend too much, this watch keeps the price low without stripping out functionality. I would go for it.

    So Far, So Good!

Pros: + Great Fit, Very Comfortable + Wear OS 2.0 + Hundreds, if not thousands, of watch faces, with the ability to create your own through 3rd party apps + 20mm replaceable watch band + Recessed heart beat sensor + Fast interface + Battery can last up to a day with regular usage, a day and a half with moderate usage with the Always On screen funtion turned "OFF" + Lightweight Cons: - Very thick, measuring a whopping 13mm! Thicker than my Citizen explorer style watch. This could be a design choice to keep the heatbeat from bulging out. - Gyro doesn't sense my wrist movement some times, making it annoying to have to touch the screen or press the power button to check the time. Overall, so far this is the best Android Wear watch I've owned. I previously wore Asus's Zenwatch 3, but since they dropped support for it I wanted to try my luck with the TicWatch. And so far it's given me a renewed outlook of the Wear OS ecosystem. Mobvoi seems dedicated to supporting their TicWatch brand, so I'll show them some love! Compared to the ZenWatch, the TicWatch E performs so much faster! Menus are quick, response with loading apps are snappy, and the update to Wear OS 2.1 was quick and simple. The only missing feature I miss from the ZenWatch was the auto brightness sensor it had. The TicWatch doesn't have that, so often times late night dark rooms will be lit up bright when I shift my TicWatch slightly. But that brings up one great thing about the TW (TicWatch) Battery life on the TW is great! It lasts up to a day and a half with my typical moderate usage. From checking the time, to responding to a few texts when I don't want to use my phone, as well as controlling my music, the TW can actually be worn to bed for a night, and would just need a quick charge by lunch time. I rarely use this for fitness, but the auto step alerts to take 250 steps (for a total of 10000 steps a day) is a nice feature that can be set off or on in the Google Fit app. I also can't gauge the heartbeat sensor accuracy as I don't use it often. I also don't care too much for the Android Pay feature, so the missing NFC capabilities I'm not at all upset about. Overall, a great smartwatch with all the typical features of an intro watch. For less than $200, you get one fantastic Wear OS watch with a better than average battery life of other Wear OS watches.

I bought this watch to use for work to get notified of calls, texts, security system alerts, etc. This does all of that and more. I have used smart watches like LG Urbane 2 LTE, Moto 360, ZTE, and the Samsung Gear S2 LTE, and this one is lightweight, and user-friendly. You can change and customise the watch face with any Wear OS watch face app. The watchband is interchangeable, and easy to do so. Although the band that comes with it is lightweight itself.

I bought this watch because I found myself often forgetting my phone in my office when I headed to meetings. I would lose track of time and where I needed to be next. This watch saved me and kept me in constant contact with all that I needed with out carrying my Note9 with me everywhere. I can respond to emails, texts listen to music, talk on the phone and so much more all at the fraction of the cost of a apple watch. Of course I do have an Android, but I have encouraged other apple users to purchase this and they love it! I will most definitely be upgrading to the next generation of this watch if this one ever dies. It's been a year to the date and I am still amazed by all that this watch can do!

I actually just started using this watch though I bought it 2 years ago it's stayed in the box. I recently started using it to track my heart rate and monitor exercises its not bad for the price it does everything i need it to do and a little more my only complaint is the battery life. Depending on the day it will last longer than others and for some reason it doesn't charge well. Ive had it in the charger for 4 hours sometimes and come back to find it at 8%. Also it is almost completely usless without the app connection to your phone, even of you never use the app.
