    The motor has sufficient torque to extract even the tightest cork. However, it takes about 20 seconds to pull it out, and then about 10 seconds after pushing the reverse button to dump the cork out. So be patient. I can remove about ten corks before having to recharge the unit. It does recharge fairly quickly (a few hours).
