Works great, despite my doubt
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this antenna after doing exhausting research. I was scared to buy this one because I was worried it wouldn't be able to pick up the weaker signals. I mounted on my roof and pointed it west. Picking up all the local channels I hoped for so I'm happy. http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=29&q=id%3d60ed5c3314f8f6. I did have trouble picking up channels with the gain amplifier attached so I removed it and had much better success in maximizing the channel count and strength.

Exceeded my expectations
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had SD cable for way too long. This is a Great Unit. Was not expecting as many channels as I now get. The HD clarity of over-the-air reception is way better than my SD cable. Easy to install. Does not require a power source to go the the antenna - yet the amplifier (included) in the house definitely is doing its job. Is not an eyesore to the house like larger traditional antennas and does not look like a "death ray" type either. Very pleased thus far.

Works for me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried this after trying the Mohu indoor 50 mile range antenna, and reception was poor. Realizing I was going to require something more powerful to get reception through thick concrete firewalls in this condo, I went to this mohu air 60 outdoor antenna to place out on my patio. The great return policy allowed to try and return if anything didn't work for me. This is as far as I had to go. It is on the top shelf of my plant stand, just outside the sliding glass doors. It is multi directional, so no spinning it around to find best direction. We are receiving 32 channels, great picture, and now cable free, and already subscribed to Amazon Prime and Netflix. Savings of $100 per month on cable, $1200 per year. I know these antennas are great for some and not for others due to different situations, but I am ecstatic this works for me and wanted to share something good. Nothing to lose when trying it out with Best Buy.

Dancing on Air
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. What a great antenna after being stuck on 2 channels in mountainous, tree filled area! Approx 25 miles from towers, I had many doubts about risking money but figured the 15 day return policy from BB would be worth it! We get 9 now (roof installed) -all major networks :) Very, VERY pleased with this antenna and easy to install! Im not a do it yourself normally. I recommend the website tablotv.com. They nailed the stations I would receive after 3 hard days of referencing tv antennas! Thank you MOHU, ,BEST BUY

Works great outside
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I tried placing this antenna inside in several locations with poor results unless it was pressed against a window. It works great against a window or mounted on the roof. I get tons of channels I can't get with a standard indoor antena

This.Is.The.One
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best buy didn't use to carry Mohu products and I was unaware that my store had this product due my (wrong) assumptions and the fact that Mohu products are not on the same aisle at BB as all the other antenna options!! We had been trying to get the Clearstream 4V up and running and it was a royal pain with abysmal customer service. Went to BB first thing on a Saturday, found the Mohu Sky (or 60, seems to have a few different names), just kind of placed it in the proper direction after minimal assembly and Voila! more channels with random placement than the Clearstream 4V with 3 nights of effort. In addition the Mohu comes with an amp and 30 ft of coax. The Clearstream came with neither. I'd like to point out the the FCC, tvfool and antennaweb all said we would get no reception in our area. We can get 31ish channels, some are duplicates but we get the majors, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX and PBS clearly. In our former home all of the authoritative sites named above said we could get 29 channels and we could get about 4. So don't believe it and at least give over the air a shot! FYI we used attic placement.

WORSE than the MoHu Leaf and Terk FDTV1A
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've got a MoHu Leaf (the amplified model) and a Terk FDTV1A (I think that's the model...it's discontinued) that are almost identical in performance, and work fairly well. I really want something that'll do even like 10-20% better, just to pull things in a big stronger to eliminate occasional artifiacting and the like in recordings. I've been eyeing the Sky/Air for years, thinking "hey, the Leaf works pretty well, maybe this will work just a bit better". Turns out..it's worse, at least for me. It can't pick up anything new (I don't really care, but Mohu's site claimed I'd almost double the channels I could pick up). More significantly for me, the channels I do get are at best identical reception to my Leaf and Terk, Some are CLOSE to as good, but while the Leaf and Terk hold them steady, the Air wobbles up and down. Others are 10 or more WORSE on my TiVo's signal strength meter. Some channels have artifacting not present with the other antennas. Not one channel does any better on the Air than on the Leaf/Terk FDTV1A (both of which were significantly CHEAPER). The long included cable means I could try it in more locations...I thought maybe against two exposed walls my other antennas can't reach I'd do better, but nope, still worse. I wish I knew something better than my Leaf and Terk FDTV1A...it would be worth basically whatever they want to charge, but the Air is WORSE than even my antenna I used prior to my current two. Also worth noting-I thought Mohu made their Antenna's in the U.S. Maybe the Leaf is, but the Air is not. (Note: I'm giving it 1 star not because it doesn't work at all, but because it's entirely pointless given much cheaper antennas outperform it.)

Exceptional antenna, great customer service
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Decided to try this highly rated antenna, as it was on great sale. Beautiful reception from stations 45 degrees apart. Decided to send signal to 6 sets, using Channel Master amplifier splitter, but wasn't sure if I should use Mohu supplied amplifier. A call to Mohu support was answered immediately by english speaking tech. I was told to install their amp between antenna and before splitter. Worked perfectly, with perfect reception to all sets. (4 way splitter, with two outlets split with unamplified 2 way splitters) Very happy customer!
