    Outside not Inside

I tried this antenna inside (it is noted for the attic or outside). Inside the antenna only picked up 4 channels. Outside I am picking up 30 channels. I mounted the antenna outside and I really like this antenna.

    Reception loss in rain

Product was easy to install and works well, except for when it rained and I lost a majority of the channels. I live about 45 miles from the nearest tower and this is a 60 mile range antenna installed on my roof and was sad to see the signal gone with rain.

    Overpriced for what you get

It works ok, but not better than other antennas. I had this and switched to a Channel Master Stealth 50 and got a bit better signal. Plus, the CM was about 1/3 the price.

Decent antenna - poor preamp included

The Sky 60 antenna is a good choice for areas near broadcast towers. My installation is located 35 miles from the major Boston broadcast tower and the antenna provided so-so results. First tried an attic install and had ok results, 16 - 20 channels on a good day. Frequent loss of signal in the attic so moved outside to the roof. Results were no better than in the attic. Ultimately found that the included pre-amp was the problem. Replaced with a better (non Mohu) pre-amp and results were greatly improved. Now receive 48 channels, even WHDH which I could not get with included pre-amp. For the price I'd expect the pre-amp to be of better quality. If you purchase this antenna be prepared to invest in a better pre-amp.

Excellent total home antenna (in attic)

This antenna is my 6th moho purchase. Our new home was pre-wired with cat 6, so I decided to install a whole house antenna in the roof. Since I have multiple previous moho leaf purchases in the past that never let me down, I went with this unit. Install and setup was a breeze and it works great. Seriously anyone can do this. Don't be scared off by the different websites and the crazy looking antennas online. Just go with moho it's simple and easy.

I picked this up in order to cut the cord and tested it with a temporary cable before trying to mount it. When installed with the power injector I wasn't able to receive any channels...removing the injector had much better results but not enough to get all of the necessary channels...I ended up returning this one for a different brand...

Mohu Sky 60 A Very Bad Buy

    Posted .

Don't buy a Mohu Sky 60, it is a very undependable antenna. I install HDTV antennas for a living. For 14 months among others antennas I installed over 25 Mohu Sky 60s. Nine months after my 1st order of the Sky 60s, four of the antennas amplifiers died, all in the same week. When the amp dies the TV doesn't work. Told the people at the Mohu customer service dept and they sent me 6 new antenna amplifiers (not 4) and told me that I didn't need to send the bad ones back. That gave me a very bad feeling. Within the next 5 months another 8 antennas amps died. Nearly half of Mohu Sky 60's have died. The "I'm sorry" to my customer, plus over 40+ hours of replacing (for free) with new amps or different antennas has been truly a working antenna installing nightmare. They are very, very, very bad, but good if they still work. Again Don't Buy a Maho Sky 60 TV Antenna or you may truly regret it. Also, I believe Mohu still sold the Sky 60s knowing it was possibly that there were many with very bad amplifiers.

I was using my indoor antenna and getting about 10 channels. With the Mohu - AIR 60 without the amplifier I got 5 channels and with the amplifier I got 1 channel. Maybe I had a bad amplifier however I didn't want to waste my time so I returned the product. Going to look for something else.

Didn't work any better than a $7 indoor antenna

This antenna worked no better than my $7.00 Indoor Mediasonic Homeworx HW110AN antenna. Look elsewhere for a quality outdoor antenna. I even tried mounting it at my roof line and the $7.00 antenna inside still worked better. I will be returning this item in the morning. Don't waste your time or money.

    Did not work for me

Purchased this antenna today, going back tomorrow. All towers are within 50 miles of my home and could only receive ABC. Made several point adjustment, which should not matter on a multi directional antenna. Antenna was mounted outside on the eave of the house. Also raised on 15 feet pvc pipe over the roof and no better reception.

It Said I Would Get 30 Channels. I Got 6.

I bought this product because my husband and I wanted to watch Giants games, which air on Fox. I checked on multiple Mohu & Best Buy sites to verify which channels we should expect to get based on our specific street address. Fox was listed on all of these resources, along with 25+ other channels. When we hooked the device up at home, we got 6 channels, and they were all pretty lame channels (nothing mainstream). Pretty disappointed, as this was a waste of time. Will be returning.

    Not much reception.

Mohu website claims all local stations could be received from Boston stations at our location on cape cod . About 60 miles from broadcast towers . All I could get was few shopping channels and nothing else. No value here , will return. Need to be much closer to towers.
