After trying other antennas and only getting 3 channels I bought this expecting to get 17 channels for my area per the website... I was only able to get 7 total. The reception was very good and better than other models i tried.

Easy to assemble and install on the roof. Pulled in a lot more channels that I had expected. Some I did not know were broadcasting in my area. I would recommend this to a friend.

I installed this antenna in my attic, with hopes that I would receive my local channels. After installing, and follow up research, I realized that my all metal roof would not allow the antenna to work properly. I was really wanting to cut the cable, but not this time.

Just finishing "cutting the cord" and this was the best addition to our setup. Feeds the entire house with a clear precise picture with channels from over 40 miles away.

With my personal experience, this antenna didn't do the trick for me. I am a cord cutter and my end goal was to pull my locals and have them record to my TiVo device I had purchased. Indoor antennas are pretty much garbage and rarely tend to work as described so I went with this outdoor one. I essentially replaced it with an old Satellite Dish that was on my roof as all of the wiring (which was perfectly fine) was currently there. I hooked it up and made sure I had only one run going in to my basement that then fed up to my living room so basically it was a roughly 45' single coax from the antenna to my TV. With or without the supplied pre-amp I was able to pull 47 channels which was pretty awesome. They were all pretty clear except they were constantly cutting in and out making it almost impossible to watch. I did some research and read that LTE signals from Cell Phones and Towers can cause interference and a filter is recommended to correct this. I bought one and it only slightly made a difference. Signal strength tests though were showing everything is fine so I was unsure what was going on. I contacted Mohu Support to see what I could do and they suggested I get a 25 dB Gain Amp and see if that works and sadly it did not. I tried pretty much everything I could think of or find online to no avail. Unfortunately I had to return this device and figure out another way to get my locals.

I mounted on the top of my 2 story. I usually get 13 local channels. Now I get over 40. I did adjust it 90 degrees once I mounted it and that made a huge difference.

I previously used separate antennas throughout the house on 5 TVs. Each one was able to get different channels depending on which side of the house they were on. Then I install this new antenna on the deck and connected it to break out the old TVs in the house using the old cable TV connections. This worked wonderful and how old TVs have 35 channels, albeit some are repeats of others, so about 20+ distinct digital high def signals. Beautiful FREE reception. Took an hour to set everything up. There's one more channel I could get if I installed on roof but not going through the trouble.

I believe we are on the outer edge of the broadcast towers. The reception is generally good. I had to raise the antenna 25 ft above the ground for better reception. May have more opinions as the trees leaf out.

Works as advertised but with a catch

This antenna works as advertised but with a catch. It is multi-directional but it does require some work to find the "sweet spot" to try and pick up the most channels possible. I could purchase a rotor and get each channel with much better signal but that is not why I purchased a multi-directional antenna. Overall it does what it claims, but time will tell how long it will hold up. It appears to be good quality. I could see this being great in an area where you have more stations transmitting. The MoHu website stated I should be able to pick up 9 channels. I was able to pick up 9 channels but 3 channels that they said I should get I didn't. I was able to get 3 channels from another station though that was not listed.

    Getting rid of cable TV

After some research and talking with friends with satellite TV services, we decided to get an antenna and pair it with streaming video memberships we already had. We also added live TV streaming with SlingTV. Now we accepted that no service (not even our cable) was going to give us perfect TV service. Overall we are happy with our purchase. It does break up at different times of day - but we see patterns as to when - so we just stream at those times. Setting it up on the roof took some patience, we had to keep trying different locations until we found the best and then we waited overnight as well before committing to the final location. Also we tried it in attic but found outdoors was significantly better.

I tried a mohu leaf in my window but couldn't get all the local channels. I'm assuming it's because it lacked the line of site with the towers 20 miles away. I bought this antenna and set it out on the edge of my deck with direct line of the towers and boom, every single channel available popped up on my tv. Been using it for a month now with no regrets. Ended up running the cable into the splitter where the directv satellite had been plugged into. I get the channels on every tv in my house now. Saving around 100 a month with this antenna by kicking cable to the curb.

Wanted to "cut the cable" and go OTA and Netflix. Had a Mohu Leaf but a brick house and I wanted to mount the antenna inside. Thought I would go with this antenna. Alone, it was not much better than the Leaf alone. Amplified, it was still not much better. Finally, I ran a coax cable from the system block (Charter), up one floor through a laundry chute into a central closet and then connected this and the Leaf, each with a 6 foot coax to a splitter / combiner and then to the coax. This antenna and the Leaf are arranged at 90 degrees to one another. Good reception except during lightning. I also put a splitter /combiner near the TV and connected my stereo, enabling HD radio reception.

I installed the antenna on the roof of my house. I did a channel search and received 10 over the air channels. They all come in Crystal clear. A good choice for those looking to cut the cord

My location in NH has limited digital stations. A few of which are more 50 miles away. The antenna was able to provide a stronger signal to my TV and I was able to get additional stations.

Bought this antenna after trying several antennas. This was the best one, we live in a valley and it is hard to get channels. This got us more channels that we have ever had (10 channels).

Got this to eliminate satellite and did just the trick. Mounted it on the roof and good reception. Amplifier gave moderate improvement is only reason it didn't get 5 stars.

I like that it is multi-directional. My neighbor has one that he had to point to a certain area. As we live between two major cities, I can usually get stations from both cities as he is only getting the channels from the city he is pointed to. Channels aren't always without glitches but that is something you learn to put up with using antenna tv. But, cable wasn't always without glitches either. Just, I could call and complain to someone at the cable company, where I can't with the antenna. I don't have experience with other antennas so I can't really compare. I read reviews to purchase this one and I get more than I expected.
