I am 33 miles from Chicago towers and 40 miles from Rockford towers. The antenna was said to have a 60 mile range and I only was able to get 6 channels total....

Unless your tv is adjacent to a window, the supplied coax cable needs to be longer. Read: wire stretched across the corner of the room until I buy 25' of cable. The reception is subject to bad weather, I expected this, just had hoped better for the price. So frustrated, I haven't even tried the second unit yet
