If you placed the antenna on the floor, for instance, the signals may not have been presented or low to the floor. For indoor purposes, even an indoor/outdoor antenna needs to be up high. Towers are 1500 feet up in the air. Most of those signals are not pointing down, so we always recommend placing the antenna up as high as possible to achieve the best signal reception. Depending on how many electronics you have in your home, the electronics can cause some interference with the TV signals in your living area. Also, there are other factors outside your home that can cause signals to break up, like trees for instance. |Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used a single di-pole antenna for years to watch television in my bedrooms and basement, i was skeptical that the Mohu would do any more. I was wrong. The Mohu Arc Pro amplified antenna appears to be a Mohu arc panel with an add-on amplifier, which is the magic to this unit. There are lights on the panel to assist in aiming the antenna for best reception but in my location they all remained lit. I guess if you are in a more fringe area these might be helpful. I installed the antenna and amplifier and did a channel search and was surprised at the number of digital stations it found, and they all had a watchable clear picture. To test if the amplifier was real or just a useless add-on, i removed it and used just the antenna. Without the amplifier, about 30% of the initial channels would not tune in. I'm sold! I would recommend this antenna to anyone who is trying to cut the cord.

It is very important to re-scan for channels each time the antenna is moved. There are various reasons that could be causing interference with the TV signals, such as other electronics in your living space or where the towers are located could be on the opposite side of your home. Also, sometimes the signal is not even present in your living space. Therefore, we always recommend installing the antenna up as high as possible in a room or outdoors. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals.
