Customers are saying
Customers are satisfied with the Beam Premium Indoor/Outdoor HDTV Antenna's reception and picture quality, frequently praising its ease of installation and attractive design. Many appreciate the improved channel count it provides, although some experienced issues with signal strength and found the antenna to be larger than expected. A few customers felt the price was high relative to performance. Overall, the positive feedback on reception and picture quality outweighs the negative comments.

techs told me it wouldn't work and it didn't
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love the idea of an indoor tv antenna. I want so much to cut out Direct TV. Is there an attic antenna that would work for me?

Not able to pick up stations within stated range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I installed this in my attic of my one story home. I aimed it in the direction of the TV towers. The distance to the towers is about 15 miles and I still couldn't pick up some of the local channels. There are no hills in a direct line to the towers, so I am bit disappointed in the number of channels (about 35) I was able to get.

Sleek Design & Great Reception
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Mohu Beam Premium is a pretty good hd tv antenna that is lightweight and has a sleek and slim rectangular design. The antenna comes with two coaxial cables, a coaxial adapter, a right angle coaxial adapter, usb power adapter, power injector, antenna kickstand, and wall mounting screws. Mohu claims that it has a 50 mile range, but since I live in a big city, I wasn't able to test the range limit. Once I hooked it up to my tv, plugged in the power for the antenna, and placed it against my living room wall, I was ready to perform a channel scan. It picked up all but a few channels. I then proceeded to move the antenna to a different position away from my living room wall and re-scanned. It was able to pick up the remaining channels. The reception is good with little pixelation. Much like all other antennas, the reception for the Mohu Beam is dependent on the placement location around your home. It'll have better reception mounted higher up the home, close to windows, and away from objects. I compared the Mohu Beam against my rabbit ears hd antenna, and I could immediately see that I was able to receive good reception with the Mohu Beam whereas the rabbit ears had to be constantly adjusted for each channel otherwise I wouldn't get an image. The Mohu Beam antenna can be wall mounted and comes with a mounting template and mounting screws. As an alternative, you could also prop the antenna up with the supplied kickstand. In summary, if you're in the market for a tv antenna, I think this one is a good one to get.

Good Antenna
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me start off by saying that my household does not have cable TV and we rely solely on an antenna to pull in and view our local television stations. I live in a major area that is unobstructed and has no large buildings and I do not reside in a rural area. You should also know that I am within a recommended zip code for this particular product. You should check your zip code on the company website to see if this product will work in your particular area of the country. I was anticipating and hoping that the Mohu Beam Premium would provide me with true Omni-Directional reception, but I did not always find that to be true. I found that moving the antenna to different areas of my home provided better reception on certain channels. Therefore, movement of this antenna in order to view certain channels clearly was a necessity for me, but may not be the case for you. I have to admit that when regular vehicle traffic (cars) passes directly in front of my home, certain channel reception was either blocked or the reception of that channel momentarily stopped or faded out. This fade out did not occur on all channels, rather it occurred on 2 of them. If you are wondering if I'm using an "old" TV, the answer is no. The antenna is being used on a 55 inch smart TV that is barley 2 months old. I'm honestly wondering if any external antenna will go unaffected by vehicular traffic. The Mohu antenna is my 3rd different antenna (two others are made by a differing companies) which offers no better reception than much cheaper alternatives than I currently use on my other TV's. The Mohu brings in amazing picture quality coupled with stunning colors on all channels. All in all, the Mohu pulls in 77 channels and does exactly what it is advertised to do. I can not fault the antenna for reception problems that vehicles are causing.
