    Poor VHF-band Channel Reception

My house is within a 35-45 mile radius of transmitters for two metropolitan markets. The antenna does an excellent job picking up all available UHF-band channels within that radius, but it is disappointingly bad at receiving the VHF-band channels. In fact, I've had much more success receiving VHF-band channels with an old pair of rabbit ears. The Mohu Gateway Plus antenna struggles to receive even the nearest VHF-band channel with transmitter only 30 miles away. As a result, I am undecided whether I will keep or return. I should add that the signal strength indicator is useless to me. I positioned the antenna in multiple locations and orientations with no indicated change in signal strength.

Greetings GreggS! We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our Mohu Gateway Plus receives Hi-VHF and UHF TV signals. You may be wanting to receive Lo-VHF signal, which would require a very large antenna element, or will need to be in very close proximity of the towers. I have attached a link to explain the difference, and how to choose the right antenna for your area and needs. https://www.antennasdirect.com/blog/why-you-need-to-choose-the-right-antenna-with-frequency-in-mind. Before you return the antenna, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572, so they can pinpoint what the issue is and if a different antenna will be necessary for your situation. Thank you for your purchase and honest feedback! Mohu

Easy set up and pulls in all local digital channels and saved dollars on watching same repeated shows on cable paying nearly $150 on cable tv which depicted the same shows 30 plus years ago. Can watch real time NFL and College sports and etc.

I had purchased other in house antennas from other sources with no success. A friend recommended this one to me. I am thrilled with this antenna I get loads of channels just from the antenna alone. I would recommend this one anytime.

The Mohu Plus Indoor Antenna has been fantastic. Installation was simple, and it pulls in far more channels than my decade‑old indoor antenna ever did. The reception is consistently clear and stable, making this upgrade absolutely worth it.

Bought it to watch March Madness when DirecTV fought with my local CBS affiliate. Could be better. Signal was really finnicky, and it only worked consistently in one specific spot in my living room. Signal is not an issue. I had another older antenna on a different TV that worked fine.

This antenna works well, though we had to put it in a window. It requires a power brick, which is not supplied. For the price, it should probably include one.

The antenna seems to be working so far. It was easy to set up, but note that it does not come with a power brick, only USB. Wish it had a white cord and that the cord was detachable from antenna itself.
