This antenna gets fantastic reception from our living room. We pick up almost every single channel and they come in crisp and clear. We used Antennaweb.org to help us figure out which direction to face the antenna and that was it. Works great!

    Great buy

I live in an old apartment complex: while there is a cable outlet in my living room, there is not one in my bedroom. I bought an amplified antenna for my bedroom TV 5-6 yrs ago, which managed to get me only three channels with decent reception. Research taught me that my particular geographic location didn't have the most ideal placement to get good signals; but all signs indicated I should be able to get at least 20 channels via a decent antenna. Saw this antenna advertised, read the reviews.... As I saw suggested in another review I went to the Mohu website first and entered my zip code to see what it'd say. It indicated I should be able to get 26 stations - a huge improvement over what I was getting to this point. And I figured even if I didn't get that many it was a win if I managed to double my current number. So I decided to buy this antenna and give it a try. Now I get 21 channels - all of the local channels in my area + extras I'd never heard of and already have grown to like. It's not even an amplified antenna & it pulls 7 times more channels than my old one - plus this frees up a wall outlet in my bedroom so that's a plus. The antenna is very low-profile: it's very thin and has two pin holes in the upper corners so you can pin it to your wall (thumbtacks included). The white side is a perfect white - whereas my bedroom walls are not - but I still hardly notice it. And all 21 channels I get from the antenna are strong: no snow and no hiccups. I'm so glad I bought this b/c now I can relax in bed watching TV if I wish, instead of having to stay in the living room to do so. Definitely worth the buy.

I Just purchased 2 of these to replace cable services to my home. It's so lightweight, small pins hold it to the wall. I am able to hide it behind my television and I get ton's of channels with great reception! It also reversible, one side white, the other black,, to match your décor!!.

I live in Fresno California, 93703 zip code, was just expecting a few channels after running tv scan but got in 91 channels in total. All of the local channels like ABC, NBC, CBS plus the CW come in HD and look better than on cable. Bought also a Amazon Fire Stick for Netflix and got a bundle discount, very glad I cut the cable service and very satisfied.

    Best Indoor Antenna Yet...

I've tried at least 6 antennas(amplified, non amplified) over the past 5 years over 2 locations and this one be far works the best. I have also worked the most with finding the best location for this one since it had the overall best reviews from many different test sites. Taking the time with placement and rescanning may be the key with any antenna? After doing some antenna research I thought I would use a coax extension to use extra coax cable I have laying around and extend the supplied coax cable so I could move the antenna around the room to find the best location. I tried the window, behind TV, above TV, and extending as far as supplied cable would let me above right and left of TV. It would pick up different channels at different locations but not NBC or PBS together. I attached my extension and started placement again finding that in corner of room about 13 feet away from TV walla! I picked up all my local stations even the hard to reach ones. There were actually 2 good locations the other one about same distance in middle of wall. I think NBC is the hardest signal to pick up in my area because many of the other antenna's would never even pick up the signal no matter how many different setups I tried. So once I got it to pick up NBC( took about 5 placements) with scan I just left it on that station and moved the antenna around the room again to find where I got the strongest signal. Placed it at 2 good spots and rescanned. DONE! ALL THE CHANNELS IN! Maybe it was taking the time with finding a good spot and doing a little research but I know I am very satisfied with this product. As I said there were many other set ups that would not pick up NBC, PBS at all and this one definitely works well.

Decided to cut the cord on cable but I was weary about the digital antenna. I had heard that you may get some of the main networks but not all. It took five minutes to hook up and scan for channels. I received all major networks and a lot more. Now I just wish I had done this a long time ago. So if you are weary about it just try it you won't regret it and your wallet will thank you!

I am getting 22 channels. Two major channels are Fox and ION. Every now and then I scan to see if i can pick up others but still at 22. Good alternative to paying an absurd amount for cable. Works well with Netflix

I was using an older ring style HD antenna and was receiving only 9 of the expected 13 channels. The channels were fragmenting frequently and the antenna often needed to be moved or rotated. The Leaf 30 comes with some stick on Velcro style pads that I used to hang the antenna in a south facing patio door. Viola, 13 channels and almost no fragmenting at all. I'm very pleased with the purchase!

Works as advertised by Mohu. Easy to install and use. Instructions list three steps: 1: hook up antenna, 2: set TV to search, 3: enjoy channels. I live in Brentwood, TN, where there are plenty of hills and tall trees around my house and my housing subdivision. I followed the instructions and have 35 digital TV stations available. All stations are clear and are either HD or SD (high or std def) on my LG 47" TV (new in 2011). This product will pay for itself in 4 months of not having to pay $10/mo for a cable TV box where all I need are local channels. Plan to purchase three more for TVs in the garage, basement, and MBR. I used my Mohu Leaf 30 to test it on these TV sets, which are varying brands, sizes, and years old; all receive channels with clear reception.

I have tried a few including some powered ones and this one got me the most stations. I was using another similar design flat, but in a plastic housing, it did NOT work as well BUT was getting me 32 stations. The Mohu Leaf got me 44!

I was tired of paying $20 a month to the cable company for channels I could get OTA for free. Purchased the Mohu Leaf 30 and was able to pick up the essentials: Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC. Granted, you have to check the signal strength in your area, but I didn't have any trouble picking up the major channels.

I got this lessthan a week ago and I got 24 channels off the bat. You can move it around your house and you might get more or less but a lot of it depends on how close you are to towers. I know some people with antennas that get 40+ and some people don't get squad. I'm fine with being in the middle because I stream most of my other stuff through the internet.

    It's good, but not revolutionary

The best thing about this antenna is its design. It's designed to be simple, to be placed out of the way and forgotten about; no pointing necessary. But before you can be able to forget about it, you have to find the right spot for it, which takes some time. Putting it on a wall, search for channels, taking it down, putting it in a window, search for channels, taking it down, putting it higher up, search for channels... In order to get every available channel (HD ones included) you have to find the right spot for it. So don't think you just plug it in, set it and forget it. But once you do, it works. I have all of the broadcast stations in HD. Still though, once you do find the right spot for it, it acts just like any other antenna. Depends on the weather, where you live. Some channels work just fine, others are occasionally spotty, some despite receiving a signal, cut in and out constantly. So on a clear day or night, it works. Otherwise, it acts just like any other antenna.

So you decided to buy a TV antenna and cut off the cable, great. Based on reviews for the Mohu leaf and other tv antennas that were cheaper, I decided to go for the Mohu leaf 30. I live in the city so I figured reception wouldn't be too hard. Installation is easy. I tried a few spots along my wall and found that placing the leaf on the bottom half worked best. I got all the basic network channels plus a few more. Reception isn't bad, mine got a bit spotty whenever the weather was bad, but nothing drastic.

Bought this antenna a couple months ago for local channels. It works fairly well. Make sure it's positioned by a window or high or a wall for best results
