Don't forget that if your TV does not have a tuner, you will need a Digital Converter box. Can cost an additional $25-$100+.

Posted .Hi FrankD! Thank you for your honest review of our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If this does not help, please give our tech support team a call at 877-825-5572 and they will perform a FREE signal analysis of your area, this will better assist them in pinpointing what the problem may be. I am not disappointed! This antenna gives me almost 35 channels and the reception is fantastic. After finding the sweet spot just tack it up and your done. Other than the initial setup this is by far the Antenna of choice. You will not go wrong with this little gem.

We played with the placement for about an hour and settled on the best stations that it pulled in, not the most stations. We're about 40 miles from Milwaukee and there's a lot of terrain and interrupters that seem to affect the reception. It does work if the cable is out (just no cable stations, obviously).

Easy setup but not as effective as we hoped

We "cut the cable" three years ago and rely on streaming services (via Roku) and antennae. Wanted to try this in my sons room for local stations. It worked great for most local stations but was unable to reliably pull in The CW (which was the main one we wanted). We ended up returning the item.

Ok..if cant afford cable

The spanish channels are clear than the other channels,which doesnt help me alot.but its better than nothing.i think it depend on your location.Im in Vegas bad reception.

I am very pleased with the reception, HD looks great, just like I had a cable connection but without the huge bill. Very satisfied.

Range is no where near advertised
