Surprisingly better reception without amp

My old rabbit ears/dome antenna worked well for some VHF channels (NBC) but had trouble with others (CBS). The Mohu so far has done well with both and at this time I've been using it without the amplifier portion of this kit. I've been very pleased with this purchase!

Spotty reception

In spite of being multi directional, can’t get two of the 4 OTA major networks. Probably related to terrain. Network affiliate needs to get a repeater station or an agreement with a independent station to carry on one of its substation

I installed it last in June in her front window. Self-stick holders worked perfectly and effortlessly. Everyone in our family has cut their cable and depends on air antennas and internet. She has been quite pleased with the range of stations and image quality she is receiving. This was a best choice.
