Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

This is the third antenna we have tried for our TV. Gets a great HD picture. Very minimal channels. We wanted to be able to get the basics and can only get abc and cbs. The best buy worker assured me we would get fox and nbc too. Originally we had the mohu leaf 30, this mohu leaf 50 is over double the price and we don't get anymore channels than the 30 we originally did. Then we tried the RCA antenna which was just old school and rough on the eyes, but we did get fox sometimes. Returned that for this one. This one is a bust. Not worth the money. Save the extra and just get the mohu leaf 30. We are only keeping this one because I was told it is the best and I am over trying new ones. Such a let down.

I bought this and installed it to cut the cable subscription and potentially save some $. This was simple to install requiring that you screw the cable into the TV Ant connection and plug the USB power into the TV USB. Excellent picture quality on local stations and pulled in distant stations and some legacy analog stations too. Very good buy.

Got this as a bundle with my ROKU 4 and its worth it. Why pay for a cheesy little box to give you over the air channels from your cable provider when you can have it free. We have ended up with at least 50 extra channeled and with Sling TV, it works out perfect, even picking up HD channels and has been very stable covering a 50 mile radius of available viewing.

I bought this Leaf antenna, along with a Roku, for a second TV. I have the same set-up on the other TV as well. I was tired of paying high prices for only a few channels. I use the Roku for Netflix and SlingTV and use the Leaf for local channels. It works great after adjusting the location a few times to get the best reception.

I bought one of these because we got rid of dish and wanted the option to watch ota tv. This one is excellent for signal up to 50 miles away in the salt lake valley. I had bought a cheap antenna from Walmart and it would pick up nbc, cbs and abc, but had issues with other channels. This antenna made that one look bad because now i get signal even in bad weather.

Located 40-50 miles from most Dallas-Ft. Worth stations, I tried the Leaf to see if cutting cable was an option for my family. It gets an amazingly clear signal on "about" 20 channels. I get more in some rooms and none at all in one particular room. Although it works for me, be prepared to return this item if it doesn't work well in your situation. (By the way, expect a great offer from Time-Warner when you convince them you are dropping their service.)

    Decent Antenna for Cord Cutters

This antenna has decent reception (I pick up about 40 channels) but isn't perfect. A few channels get poor reception depending on the alignment of the planets or whatever determines the quality of reception. Even on cloudless days the reception sometimes goes out. However, the reception, overall, tends to be good.

Highly recommend installing an antenna or roku system to offset the hight cost of cable. These devices work well and save my family $2,208 a year. Antenna gives you local channels free and Roku lets you stream lots and lots for reduced cost of $4.99 per month (if you subscribe to HULU, Netflix or such). Can stream plenty FREE without subscribing to anything.
