Mohu - Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna - Black/White is perfect for our small condo where we do not reside daily. We only need a few channels and were so tired of paying for cable TV. We were amazed at east it was to install and now we do not pay for cable TV.

I bought the Leaf because I couldn't even get stations 25 miles away. At first with Leaf I couldn't get a single station. I had to change out the amplifier that came with it. Earlier I had bought a TV amplifier from Best Buy for $40, that helped get 3 channels. Now that I switched out the amplifiers I get about 15 channels on the Leaf. Others might need to do the same.

Most of the time reception is good - I'd say 90% of the time.

Its sorta like cable. You will get many channels you will never watch and a few that you will. Difference is this is uncompressed HD quality and its free. Reception quality if fair to excellent depending on channel selected (its indoor after all). Im using this for local channels and Playstation Vue ($34 per mo.) for all ESPN and AMC (among many othe stations).

This item ca me with an amplifier but actually worked better without it. Most of the time I receive all the channels from 2-13. If someone moves into the room, the reception nay flutter. Sometimes channel 13 has too low reception. However, these issues aren't necessarily because of the antenna.

quick easy install with great reception using only a little space

This Antenna works great for us, we get 36 stations and no monthly bill. We get all of the local news & TV, some movie stations, music & sports. Even during storms we get service, when we had the expensive service it would go out during a storm. We are very happy with this product.

I bought this for a friend's parents in an Oakland apartment building who wanted to get the local Chinese channels. When I first put it up, I was disappointed to only get one channel. I moved it around and got 4 Chinese channels and all sorts of other locals. They love it!
