The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

this antenna saves me from having to use any cable. Tied into the back of my 10 year old smart Samsung TV, I have it on the highest part of my wall. I get all the networks that serve us without cable. Especially happy to get PBS.

Hi SamG! We are sorry to hear the Mohu Leaf 50 Antenna did not work out for you and the Best Buy return policy was not clear. Mohu is here to help!! Depending on your distance from the nearest towers, you may want to run a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers. We also have a free app called Antenna Point you can download to your iOS or Android phone. Once you download, the app will identify your location. You will see the towers in the surrounding area, so you aim the antenna in the right direction to pick up the TV signals. If these tips do not help, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 and we will perform a FREE TV signal analysis of your location to help determine why you may not be getting any signal. We are available Monday - Saturday to help. Thank you for your purchase and honest feedback! Mohu

I purchased this for a friend of mine who wanted to avoid cable TV. It was easy to set up, and the reception is pretty darn good considering the broadcasting is coming from 40 miles away. My friend is happy with the product.

    Best HD Antenna

I've tried a few HD antennas over time but the Mohu Leaf is the best one by far! I tried the 30 and 50 and although the 50 doesn't give me more channels, the reception is better then with the 30 therefore I recommend the Mohu leaf 50. Worth the difference!

This was easy to use and easy to connect to the television. However, we could not get two of our local channels! We purchased a much cheaper antenna and it picks up the same channels as this one.

once i figured out where to place this in the room, i was gratified to see how clear and strong the reception is. i want to experiment with different locations to see if i can pick up more stations, but so far abc and cbs are crystal clear!

After cutting the cord from cable, we needed something to enable us to get local channels on our tv. This antenna fit the bill nicely. After only a minimum of adjustment, we can pick up all of the local channels very clearly and the savings made it all worth while.

Purchased the Mohu 50 due to mostly positive reviews. I live appx: 10 miles from most of the tv towers in my area but am in a rural location between 2 large hills. I had the antenna pointed in the direction of most of the towers and moved it around in several locations as high as i could get it but still could not pick up clearly 3 of the biggest channels, ABC,NBC,CBS. Other channels came in ok. Had to return the Mohu 50 and hooked up a pair of rabbit ears I had and now all stations are clear. The Mohu just did not work for me.

Does not pick up any signals, absolute garbage

I'd say it is nothing more than a paperweight, but I don't think it would even work as a paperweight. This antenna found literally no broadcast signals. It advertises a 60 mile range and there a 2 major cities within that range (with the broadcast towers being 14.6, 30.7 and 34.9 miles away) and this antenna doesn't pick up a single signal. I located as directed... up high, in a window and away from metal... I even dug a 50ft coax cable I have out of my storage so I could put this antenna in the window on the 2nd story of my house (the TV I bought it for is on the main level) and still... nothing. I tried hooking it up to the TV in my bedroom just to see if it would work there and it does get 2 channels there, albeit both are badly pixelated with audio that cuts in/out. So I guess I'll be driving back to best buy tomorrow (about 45 miles and a little over an hour round trip) to return this antenna. For what it costs, I had hoped that it would work as advertised but no such luck. The only thing it did successfully is cost me about $45 in fuel for the 2 trips to best buy.

Greetings! We apologize you have not had a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna. We wish you would have called us to troubleshoot before you returned the antenna. If you have not had a chance to return the antenna yet, please try running a channel scan without the included amplifier. Over-amplification can occur if you are trying to use an amp too close to the broadcast towers, and will cause disruptions in receiving a clear signal. If this does not help, please give us a call at 877-825-5572. We will run a FREE signal analysis of your area to determine which antenna is right for you. We are available 7 days a week to help! Thank you for your purchase and feedback. Mohu

It's an antenna. It works. The higher you can place it the better, pair it with HDHomeRun and all you need is a network port and an outlet and you can put this nearly anywhere to maximize your signal. Pair with Plex or Kodi and cut the cord.

Was very Sceptical, can't always trust reviews but I seen one review that I thought was genuine. So I purchased it for a family member, installed it and it worked really great for the environmental conditions of the area.I was really impressed with it.

I bought this for my second TV to avoid cable costs. I only have basic cable and this antenna provides all the local stations with clarity better than cable. There are a few "added" stations that have some interference but I just adjust the line and they are fine. Competes with metal roof and mountains.

We are only getting local channels and even that is sometimes hit and miss. Unfortunately, we have a garage blocking the antennas' direct view and I know that is affecting the reception so I shouldn't be complaining. Threading the cable to a higher level is impossible so we have to live with what we've got.

If you decide to cut the cord this antenna will do the job. Although it has a built in amplifier the strongest digital signals still break up. Not sure if that is a limitation of the product or the digital technology.
