For us the best spot was near a window and laying flat and with the booster removed. The TV and the leaf are on the second floor of the house. Beats paying cable for the same basic cable!

Posted .Hi JamesE! We apologize you are not having a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Antenna. Considering your short distance to the nearest broadcast tower, we recommend running a channel scan without the included amplifier. Sometimes, over-amplification can occur if trying to use an amplifier too close to the towers. We also highly recommend placing the antenna as high as you possibly can on a wall or in a window. This will help achieve the best signal reception. If these tips do not help and you have not already returned the product, please give us a call at 877-825-5572 and our customer service team will run a FREE signal analysis to try and pinpoint what the problem could be. Be sure that you are within an area that has HDTV over the air service. I used nocable.org to check my coverage options.

It pulls in 35 stations (really good for this area), even catching those stations that are 180 degrees away from the antenna location. Recommended.

Because it is amplified and can be plugged-in directly to the USB plug on the tv, it brings in a nice over-the-air HDTV.

The first two antennas were returned because the picture was terrible and the reception gave me about 4 other channels. I was pleased with the Leaf and have over 20 channels.

While I do pick up abc now, it does not seem significantly more reliable than a cheaper non-amplified antenna. The product itself is nice. Easy set up and picks up a lot of channels. If I didn't have an antenna I'd go straight to this, if I'm upgraded from a cheaper antenna, I'd have to reconsider. One side note, possible due to so many people watching, but this barely worked during the super-bowl. Something to keep in mind if you're having guest over for the big game!

Great when close to towers

The closest towers to my place are 50 miles away this is supposed to be good for further than that.

It gives great local coverage in my area (over 35 channels) and the picture quality is great...Going to playstation Vue and leaving Spectrum behind with free local content.

This antennae gives more channels than just the local 3, 13 or 10. If you are thinking of cutting loose Cox, Verizon, DirecTV, etc..do it! With this antennae and Roku box, you are set.
