I live on a hill less than thirty miles from all the towers I need to reach. It did boost the signal but not enough to give a clear picture on the majority of the channels. The design is nice and it was very easy to mount.

Posted .Greetings TerryS! We apologize you have not had a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50 Amplified HDTV Antenna. All locations and terrains are different. If you are in a more urban area, or at a closer distance to the broadcast towers, there is a good chance you do not need an amplifier. Over-amplification can occur within a shorter distance to the towers and could very well make your reception worse. Please try removing the amplifier from the antenna and re-scan for channels to see if this helps.
