I got this on sale for a nice discount, so take that into consideration. The picture is really nice, and it was simple to set up. Unfortunately, the amplifier doesn't seem to make any difference. I'm in a smaller city, but I'm in between Albany, NY and New York City, and I only get three channels. I tried to hang it on the wall first, but that resulted in no reception. I stuck it to the window and got the channels. CBS, CW, and some random retro channel. CBS and CW are crystal, but the other one is ok. I unhooked the amplifier and it made zero difference in channels or picture quality. Nice product, but I guess 50 miles wasn't enough.

Since I was desperately looking to find an easy to install indoor antenna to get local channels and reduce my cable bill, making the right selection was extremely important to me. After reading the specification of the indoor antennas offered by Best Buy, the Mohu - Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna caught my attention due to the easy installation instructions and the 50 mile arrange. When I received my product, it was very easy to install and after scanning during the setup phase, was pleased to learn I could get 25 local channels. I believe that for the price and easy installation, I got a very good deal.

I was very skeptical, but after getting home and putting it to use the antenna was way better than advertised. I hoped to get 3, maybe 4 channels, but we get 12. I am not home a lot and being able to cut my cable costs by over $80 a month is a great feeling!

The picture quality is near perfect. Easy to install. Great solution to avoid high priced cable bills. Only downfall is that we lose picture every time plane or truck passes house.

Somewhat directional. but a pretty good antenna for it's price. It's receiving all available Sacramento stations, and occasionally SF Bay area stations as well.

I can get enough channels that I am happy with this. I am probably about 40 miles from the stations. Sometimes the signal is lost and I giggle the wires around.

Great over the air picture quality and picked up 25 channels. At times picture can have a hiccup but that could be the location of my house and not necessarily the antenna.

The Mohu Leaf has made an appreciable difference in TV viewing. Recently the broadcast antennas were relocated, resulting in the loss of ABC, CBS, and NBC. I changed out the original rabbit ears antenna for a Mohu-Leaf. I was so pleased when CBS strongly returned. CBS is there but marginal. NBC is not present. The Mohu-leaf is low-profile and easy to connect.

Took me less than 15 minutes start to finish to get 25+ channels in HD quality in a below grade level fully finished basement. I have this 4 stars for two reasons, I don’t get all the channels available to me, cbs sports for Sunday games being one of the “biggies”. Support said get attena closer to a window. Not possible for my setup. Overall you’ll be happy with what you get and the quality reception is just like cable/dish. Although I do miss my dvr for pause breaks and recording programs. For the price it serves its purpose as I didn’t want to pay cable company to setup 2nd tv at higher rate. You can Trust this product.

We use rabit ears, people visit and bump them they would break in 7 yrs we have had 9 sets of rabbit ears, now use this flat window antenna, clearer picture and get 45 to 52 channels depends which window we use, we have two in living room. We have a tree in front of one window blocks 5 channels where other one we get different channels and actually can't get those certain channels in other window, so we swap annenta back and forth. We are actually saving to get another one for bedroom TV

This is the simplest antenna I've ever had to use. I never had to readjust it or move it to get good reception on all the channels I had. It also isn't an eyesore. I just attached it to the wall behind my tv and plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Unfortunately I did take it back because I live in a desolate area that doesn't receive many channels. It's a great device to have if you love watching live sports this time of year but don't want a cable bill. If I lived elsewhere this would be a PERFECT product.

I was attempting to quit Comcrap so I bought this antenna. I was thrilled with the clear reception on my Samsung HD TV and received about 22 stations. However, I learned that Comcrap has a monopoly where I live so I cannot toss them. I need the Internet and it is irrevocably bundled with phone and cable TV--neither of which I want. Since I am paying for it, I decided to return the antenna and get my money back. I am sorry I did that.

Considering how far I am away form any tv stations the antenna works great. I cut the cable out and I do get 7 stations crystal clear and can get more if I rotate the antenna enough.

I'm in a major metropolitan area so access to digital signals is not a problem. But there are two challenges: (1) this doesn't access the variety of television channels that Directv has - - not that I watch 400 channels on Directv, nor that there was anything worth watching on Directv; and (2) I sort of miss being able to click and get information on the show that is broadcast on each channel. For for digital reception, this works perfectly fine...which I reckon is the point. If you want to unplug from a million channels and still get local channels while purchasing a box that streams amazon or apple or Hulu, then this is the way to go.

Best antenna I have tried in several years. I have purchased and tried several other brands and styles of antennas. This antenna is easy to setup and it does a great job receiving all the channels that one would expect to receive. It also received channels that I did not know about prior to running my TV's built in search function. I live out in the country and other antennas either just didn't get the basic channels or they needed adjusted to receive them all. This antenna far exceeds the others I have owned and tried over the years.

I love the Mohu Leaf! I get about 14 channels. Most of them are perfectly clear. Easy to set up and install. My only complaint is that the 4 velcro stickys to hold the antenna up on the wall are not enough. A couple of pieces of duct tape did the trick. Best money I've spent in a long time.

I got this antenna for my basement tv which I do not have cable for. It goes into a bedroom without any windows. At first I did not get any channels so I moved the tv and antenna outside and started to receive quite a few channels. I took it back into the bedroom and had to reset the antenna again and this time I got some channels, not as many as the ones I got outside but for no windows in the room I received quite a few. As with any antenna it all depends where you are located and how strong the signal is to your home.
