Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

I purchased this antenna as a part of the process of cutting the cord. There were stations on the Cord Cutting side that did not allow streaming. For example: the Decades station you can't stream certain shows. I live in the country, to my surprise I was able to receive over 50 stations. The only negative thing I have to say about this antenna I had to hang it on my ceiling in my brand new house to receive my stations. At this point I probably should look into an outdoor antenna.

This was purchased to watch the olympics this year. Although it was reasonably easy to connect and scan for the channels the picture was a bit sketchy at first and seemed like it could be pixelated simply by moving around the room. Tried a couple places on the wall, best signal on an exterior one near a window. Made sure to secure it flat with the included pins and the picture has been great ever since. (Went in for a different one than this and the Best Buy Team suggested this was a better option)

The antenna worked as well as it could for our location. I liked the two options of either black or white to hide it in plain sight.

Location is everything - both in placement of the antenna as well as your actual location in relation to the stations you're hoping to receive. That said, such would have been the case with good old rabbit ears. Without cable, I had access to no local stations at all. With this antenna I've got a few more options. Reception isn't perfect for all stations, but that was expected. This is a great option for someone who does not want to pay for cable, but would still like to watch a few (although perhaps not all) local stations.

Living in North Greece, the signal is less than desirable for many television channels. It can be quite a frustrating time despite what guidelines say for the propper antennas for the area. The Mohu Leaf 50 works great for NBC, ABC, WXXI, and their variants as well as for CW and WBGT. The remainder however can be really spotty. CBS is quite finicky and Fox is pretty much unreachable. I've tried many out here and this so far is the best one and receives the least interference from outside devices.

Works great in my area. Local channels are clearer than with satellite. Put this behind our main TV and you can't even see it.

Bought a smart tv for my sons bedroom and didn’t want to pay to add cable. Best Buy rep turned us on about this antenna and how it could pick up crazy amounts of channels. I was a bit skeptical but we gave it a shot and it is fantastic! Picks up all sorts of local channels and some other ones too. All come in crystal clear. Highly recommend if you are just looking to watch tv without paying crazy money for cable.

I am very happy with my purchase. I get all the local channels and then some. All come in just as clear as on the TVs that are hooked to a cable box. It was extremely easy to set up, even for someone as technically challenged as I am. The Mohu is currently hooked up to an HD smart TV. I have already recommended it to others. The review will look like I am in Chicago, but I am actually using this in a suburb of Raleigh, NC.

This HD antenna works better than expected!!! I was having a Super Bowl party and needed another TV but only had one cable connection. I went to Best Buy and the sales rep suggested this product. It had a better HD picture than our FIOS! Crystal clear and no issues on our 50” TV. I have since moved it to our kids playroom where we get over 50+ channels. This is worth well over $50!

Better reception than the cheaper one, we put it on the window, sometimes wind and rain effects it, but get a fair amount of local channels.

Initially got this for the the larger television in my living room (first floor). I tried all sorts of different locations/orientations but couldn't get all the channels that knew were available. On a whim, I tried it with the tv in my master bedroom (second floor) instead. Same result whe I mounted it on the wall directly behind the tv. Then I shifted it 5 feet to the side, behind a bureau with a mirror, away from all other electronics, and now it works like charm! All the channels in my area and great signal.

I originally purchased similar antenna from Amazon for 1/2 the price. However, when the Mohu Leaf went on sale at Best Buy I decided to purchase it to compare them. I figured since Mohu is designed in USA, it would perform better than the Chinese one from Amazon. To my surprise I get couple more channels with the antenna from Amazon than with the Mohu Leaf. However the Mohu is definitively higher quality than the one from Amazon. Keep in mind, your results will vary depending on location.

I bought 3 of these (one for each of the TVs in my house. The first one was easy to get a signal on which is why I bought 2 more. The other 2 don't seem to get the same reception even thought they are all along the same wall of the same floor of my house. I had to install 1 lower to get reception and I haven't been able to get the last one set up at all yet but that is on me. I am pretty sure I will be able to get it to pick up my stations, I just haven't had a hour or mess with the location and angle yet.

This antenna found over 200 channels in the D/FW area. I thought antennas were still at the rabbit ears stage of technology. Not so...it's all HD. It will pixelate from time to time, but moving the antenna will fix that to increase reception. For a one time antenna purchase it's a great option over monthly cable $$$. I eventually purchased a second antenna for my bedroom TV. Give it a try! I'm glad I did.

I wouldn't recommend this for anyone that does not live in a thriving metropolis. While I do get three local (Roanoke Virginia) CBS affiliate (sub) channels i.e. local/national CBS in HDTV, my-TV channel, and Decades, And those three blank in and out with square (digital signal) blocks scattered around the screen — at which time the dialogue freezes and I miss what's happening visually and auditory wise. I do not get PBS at all — which with CBS are the only two networks that I watch! On occasion I can pull in three affiliate NBC stations (e.g. 10-1, 10.-2, & 10-3), I couldn't tell you what they were being that they're not there that often. When CBS and NBC are working (correctly if it all) they are in full HDTV which is great! None of the affiliate channels come in that way, they are in the standard old-style square box form but with two large rectangular columns flanking the sides. For $70 or more I was really hoping for better, but that was the best I could do (i.e. GET) living in an apartment complex in Blacksburg Virginia.

I bought this in the bundle with the Happauge adapater for the Xbox One. Purchased through Best Buy as opposed to Microsoft so I would get the reward points, it was the same cost. Works great as far as I can tell so far. I do wish the coaxial cable included was black though, as you are able to flip the antenna around to white or black. I mounted the antenna half behind the TV even and still works great, not remotely near a metro area.

Purchased this antenna to use in the bedroom since I was tired of paying Comcast an extra $10 a month for a second cable box that I rarely used. I live about 40 miles west of DC and this antenna picks up all local broadcasts in the area. It serves it's purpose for me. I'm considering picking up another one for the living room and dropping my cable TV in exchange for Hulu plus in addition to Netflix. I could probably save $50+ a month by getting another one of these and finally not feel tied down to overpriced Comcast for channels I don't use.

When my husband and I decided to give up satellite for internet TV due to the cost, my husband new he couldn't live without local channels as well. We purchased the Leaf after reading reviews and talking with the Best Buy salesperson. It is meeting our expectations and I love the fact that it's hidden. Not like the antennas when I was a kid!
