You can place it in any direction and still get a good picture.

I installed it for her and it works well. Mounting it is the biggest challenge since I stuck it to a window but it has now fallen down so she needs to remount it. Hopefully it will help her to cut the chord to her Cable company.

Pretty good reception

Very Impressive

I am about 30 miles away from a downtown city area and there is a ton of power lines, highways and multi story buildings between me and the broadcast towers. It is currently tucked in behind my tv on an interior wall (second floor of an apartment) and surrounding the building is other apartments. As I write this review I am watching an NFL game and the broadcast looks better than when I had Comcast and the best part is no cable fees/plans. This little (and thin) antenna is incredible and very much worth the cost.

Fine and cheap.

It works only if you not really often watching TV and you dont need 1000+ channels. My one gets about 20 and for a good quality picture I had to "dance" with it for a while before I found right spot.
