Customers are saying

Customers regard the Leaf 50 Amplified Indoor HDTV Antenna with 60-Mile Range highly for its overall performance, providing clear and crisp channels, and its ability to receive a plethora of channels. The antenna's slim design and small size are also appreciated for seamlessly blending into any decor. However, some customers have noted that the actual range may be less than what is advertised.

Tried this out. Hooked the cable to the TV and ran it up in the window and stuck it in place. It pulled in all kinds of Asian & other foreign channels which I don't want. Only got a few local channels. Reception wasn't that good either. Was only 12 miles from downtown where signals originate. $69 for that? No thanks. I returned it. It also looks ugly stuck up in the window with that cable hanging down.

This was easy to set up with me new Roku TV. I haven't used it a whole lot yet, but it is pulling in decent reception for at least a few channels while lying flat on the desk my TV is sitting on. I plan to install it on the wall behind the TV but at least in my case placement doesn't seem to be crucial.

Hi MarkC, we are sad to hear you didn't have a great experience with our Mohu Leaf 50. It is a far superior antenna to rabbit ears, so this makes us think if you are placing the antenna on the wall, some building materials (like metal, stucco and brick) can cause interference with the antenna. Try placing the antenna in a window, up in the corner, and not in front of a window screen, and scan you TV for channels again. If this doesn't help, we are available M-F 9am to 7pm CST 877-825-5572 (located in St. Louis) if you would like to give one of our experts a call to help you with placing the antenna in the right location to get the best TV signals. Thank you for leaving a message. Mohu

Bought this one, and a bigger, higher rated no-name brand off Amazon. Firstly, as an indoor antenna, you're still going to fight to get the best signal (esp if like me, you in the Bay Area, the transmitter towers are blocked and in different locations) This one is however much better in terms of the # of channels it picks up and the quality of the signal. Returned the no-name brand

It gets some of the local broadcast channels. I’m not sure if it doesn’t get NBC because it’s a bad antenna or if it’s because NBC dials way down on their signal strength whenever there is something on worth watching like any march madness, or the Olympics.
